  1. So I installed this on Sunday. E-clip is 1/4" and can be found at any hardware store. For the wiring, I followed the directions in post #98 except that I simply stripped the blue and green wires, tucked them into the plug making sure to put them on the side under compressions when in it's normal position, and then zip tired the wire to the wire bundles at the BCM. No solder, no risk of breaking the wires, completely removable if necessary.
  2. I'm missing the E-clip. Can anyone tell me what size it is so I can get one from the hardware store? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So I sanded the grounds and checked them with a ground wire with out an improvement. Still lose some of the weaker, non-HD FM stations with the HIDs on. Also moved the power wire in case that was the cause. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Installed my 50W Morimoto kit tonight and it looks great. But now I have awful reception for some of the weaker FM stations in the area. Come in clearly when the HIDs are off but just static with them on. Any suggestions? Maybe I need to route the power lead for the wiring harness differently? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What diode did y'all use for this? 12V - 1W?
  6. So I took my truck in last week to have the vibration and other issues looked at. Got it back - no vibration! How you may ask? They set my tire pressure from 32 to 29. Not cool. It's going back again.
  7. We're all going to say that "it's not true" because it's well known fact that can be found anywhere. DFCO removes all fuel.
  8. Agreed! Can you post pictures from in the cab? Would a 40" fit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm hoping mine will get here Monday/Tuesday. I'll post back once I have it installed.
  10. On my Canyon I just tapped in right at the fuse box at the highbeam circuit fuse. Anywhere there is a highbeam wire you could tap. I'm trying to remember exactly how I designed the circuit. Once I do I'll post it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I use this switch on my current truck, using the high beam as the trigger, and will be using it on my new Denali once it comes in. Keeps everything under the hood. http://www.autoswitch.com/as7.php
