  1. Thanks for all the info everyone.ill keep you posted.
  2. Thanks everyone for all the info,,,,,,, do I read that right above, the flip down gm screen is $50 ? So the dvd itself is not in the overhead unit on roof,it’s somewhere in the front ? Is that why I see the cost additional for a DVD player in front ? Is there anyone in the Dallas Fort Worth area that has this done that I could meet you somewhere and look at so I know what to expect and have a good idea of how my install is going to go ? Thanks everyone
  3. Hi, roughly how much am I looking at this costing me if I do it myself. I was looking at the headrest players by gm as an alternative.i have a sunroof in my truck. Thanks
  4. Ive been looking at a truck like this at a local dealer, how do you like it ? is it easy to forget how wide you are in the rear ? Id really like a dually but just aint sure yet. My 2500 pulls my toy hauler good but have always wanted a dually since a little kid. Good looking truck you have !!

  6. Picked it up yesterday at the dealer, I like it a BUNCH!! I won't never buy a 1500 again just after two days of ownership. Have not hooked up yet to my toy hauler yet but get a feeling it just might jerk the wheels off of it. I bet this diesel is pretty good. Still need to do some mods to it but love it.
  7. Off topic a little ,but what else would you need after buying the trailer brake plate to have trailer brake capability on our trucks. On my truck there is already a wiring plug behind the plate that plugs into the trailer brake switch that I got. Is there not one more piece that's offered by gm in the accessory catalog to have trailer brake control on our trucks? Or is it best just to go aftermarket all the way ? 14 Silverado LTZ thanks Im going to be pulling a enclosed cargo trailer soon is why I ask.
  8. Print that diagram pic and take it to the dealer, its going to be the same one that he pulls up on his computer and it maybe tells him option part # of the different grill insets, worth a try.
  9. I cant help on this sorry, I only haul a Mx bike that's 200 pounds once in a while, but haven't noticed anything.
  10. Lowered my truck with two inch rear lowering shackles, installation straight forward,no problems with ride or drive pinion . I'm glad I did this modification .
  11. . A friend bought some shackles from the pep boys auto store to lower his two inches and on the box it says that if you lower over an inch you will need to buy the shim kit because your changing the pinion angle. I just ask cause the belltech instructions say nothing about this and don't want something to go wrong or not have all the tools to get the job done in an afternoon. His truck is a 14 gmc crew cab Sierra basically the same as our 14 silverados. I'm just wanting to know about what I'm getting into for the do it yourself person.
  12. Can I ask if anyone has installed the rear shackles of 2 inch drop ( belltech ,#6401 ) and did you have to install shims for the pinion because of vibration ? thanks
  13. Has anyone used the Belltech part #994 on there truck ? I'm interested in dropping the front just an inch and the rear 3 to get it closer to level. Thx
  14. if you live anywhere near the d/fw area. ill pay you to do this mod on my truck ? if not ,that's cool. thanks for sharing the idea, sounds like a good one. if you live anywhere near the d/fw area. ill pay you to do this mod on my truck ? if not ,that's cool. thanks for sharing the idea, sounds like a good one.
