  1. That... Is... So.... Cool.... Plz trade trucm with me Would you show us how you do the flashing lights?? How you control them in the cab?
  2. So water can go through and drip out again from the bottom
  3. Lol, I am not sure, I have bully dog GT. Did not run into issues like that. But bully dog gt is weak, doesnt do much other than tire size, disable AFM and gear shifts
  4. Whaaa!!? That is weird!! Lol
  5. LOL, I think they are high..... You can change the to metric or imperial/US system with your arrow buttons on your steering wheel at the settings section Check if your HVAC buttons are also displaying in Celsius, if they are too, the dash setting I have metioned above should fix it!
  6. 1. I had 35w in OEM, it was definitely not enough and does not compare to my father's Jeep Cherokee's OEM projector with OEM HIDs. I ended up upgrading to 55w and the output is way better. One way to know if your output is good enough is look to see if you can see the cutoff line at all during the drive at night. If you cant, bulb is not making enough of a difference or your housing is scattering light everywhere. 2. As far as I know, if you input the same amount of power to power an HID from halogen, your HIDs will be way cooler to run, but since they have a ballast to draw power for them, they usually run just as hot or hotter from halogens to maximize light output. I have looked up people testing the temperature, they run about the same at 35w. 3. I cant be sure on this, sorry, I am happy with my 55w in OEM projectors. Happy HID retrofitting
  7. Replaced my garbage LED backup bulbs to 800lm bulbs. Offset on the new bulb is garbage too, barely goes into the socket right. Quality is superior though. I think the brightness more than makes up the bad offset anyway. Oh well, night time test will tell, but it seems to be a lot brighter as I can actually see my garage door lit up when I press my backup flash button. Top row: Stock bulb | Crappy LED 6000k Bottom row: Both the new 800lm to compare
  8. Balling yo!! nice rims!!!!!
  9. Added more mat extensions to the rear seats, and I ended up adding studs all around all mats. I like my ALL TERRAIN badge! Don't judge me!
  10. Is shaw GMC your dealership? you dont have to get the same dealership you bought the truck from for warranty. Other dealership will try harder so you can change your preferred dealer to them.
  11. I wish I could keep my truck this clean!! damn you winter!
  12. Gotta say.... BADASS!!! I cant wait to see those light bars lit up!!!!
  13. Wow... you made me regret not getting a black truck even more Anyway, did more shots of my fog lights output using a better camera, way better representation of my fogs performances!
  14. LOL, strictly temporary solution until weather is better and when I can print ABS materials
  15. They are already below my low beam close up, I still need to find a wall to adjust them. The fogs can be adjusted from the back by the way. For that price, I'd get the VLED LMZ. And the diode size is too big, you are going to have light scattered everywhere. LMZ's diode is smaller than the stock filament, that is why the beam pattern can be controlled so accurately.
  16. you should try left to right. That is the first direction I have tried, I have also carefully measured the offset from stock halogen bulb. The beam pattern is way better than I have expected!
  17. Crf450r420, are your VLED fogs oriented up and down or left to right? I oriented mine to left and right and I found no problem with them shooting too high so far. I have 2.25inch level too
  18. He sent me a working set, here is the history of the set's performance: Upon first install with relay, it works every now and then, most of the time during drives, it flickers. Fixed flicker by following another user on this forum by adding a 16v 4700uF capacitor in the relay harness inline Shortly after, maybe a day, one of the ballast failed, so I was running my hylux 35w ballasts that did not require any relay harness Found a local shop that sells 55w ballasts off the shelf, replaced it, working ever since! Even though they are 2 completely different make ballasts, the new one I bought was a lot smaller than the DDM one, they seem to have the same output and the same warm up time
  19. From a very nice special someone! Mike1220!! One of the ballast died right away though, so I bought another ballast locally, and it is working fine ever since. Where did you get your fog lights from? Here is my beam pattern and performance images: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/156170-led-fog-bulbs-lights/page-32?do=findComment&comment=1591490
  20. I didnt drive the truck out and get a good shot of the beam pattern, but you can already see it is awesome! Here it shows that they pretty much match the DDM 5000k just fine My old LED fogs are just garbage, simple measurement to compare, it is totally off! I am so excited to drive them in the dark now!
  21. So my LMZ 25w 5000k came in. What a b*&*$ to install them! The 5202 collar are just garbage by design, worst bulb socket EVER! Keep in mind, between the collar and the bulb base thread is not sealed! I had to take it out again and add Teflon tape to seal. I have measured and used the offset from The clips are so bad, I broke one of them. I end up clipping all of them off and zip tied the crap out of them!
  22. So I probed the wires for about an hour, at the end, I failed miserably The bottom rail is "one" rail, the brightness at dimmer state is just ~5v, doing the mod pushes the same pin to full ~11.8v which results the full brightness on the rail. It is possible to get the top row working, it has to be done internally though. I have probed all wires going to the headlight, all are maxed out at close to 12v after the diode mod under the dash. I did this mod for now, but I think there should be slight light output increase if you still use halogen bulbs ;) I really wish the top can be as bright as the bottom too without cutting them open
  23. You have got to use the pinout diagram, it is hard to get a right picture with the spaghetti wiring there lol
  24. Mine only started doing that after I swapped to HIDs, I think when I did it, it was humid outside.
  25. My truck started doing this lately, and getting worse and worse. I ended up purchasing desiccant packs from Canadian Tire ($9.99 CAD) they are rechargeable by baking so I left them in my lights. It has been moisture free for at least a week now, hopefully this will help you guys
