Note: Reference the latest version of PI1105 - which advises how to install an aftermarket trailer brake controller
  2. Still going to be in the settings. It is being controled by the auto part of the HVAC system, certain temp for heat, or cooled to make it work.
  3. Try this to find the option, then turn it off: If equipped and turned on, this feature will turn on the ventilated seats on your Silverado when using remote start on warm days. Press the Settings icon on the Home Page of the infotainment display. Press Vehicle to display a list of available options. Press Remote Lock, Unlock, and Start. Press Remote Start Auto Cool Seats.
  4. You will see if it is the correct key when you do this.
  5. Think you are on the same FB page I just joined. Saw 7373 for total made.
  6. Think he is talking about buying a new truck (but you never know).
  7. Just joined the Centennial group on Facebook, seeing the number 6226 built, which is close to what I heard in the past.
  8. Think the fluid flush would be worth the money, you existing fluid is contaminated with water, so if you don't get it all out and mix the new fluid with the old fluid, you will probably end up contaminating it too. As far as the TSB's, how long do you feel they should last? Not being an Ahole, but if someone stores a car for twenty years, then decides to drive it, should it still be warranted? I know my answer is no, at one point all responsibilities of your vehicle fall on the owner.
  9. I like these games, is the correct answer Punk B!$***S????

  12. New condenser, frosty cold air again (just in time for winter ), and a new set of Bilstein 5100's, greatly improved ride over the stock Rancho's!!!
  13. With the wife's 23 Yukon Denali, there is a list on the GMC app under vehicle status. Gives a full list as what has been done, and when.
  14. I would think any vehicle that has 200,000 miles, without all service records would be a gamble. If it were serviced properly, most of the common issues would have been addresses at one time by now and replaced.
  15. Hugh Janus, come on people, that is funny as hell, surprised he got that by the mods
  16. Just a guess but thinking your HMI has quit working. When the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) in a car stereo fails, it can lead to several issues: Loss of Control: The HMI is responsible for the user interface, so a failure can mean you lose the ability to control the stereo, navigation, and other infotainment functions1. System Reboots: The system might continuously reboot or fail to start properly, causing interruptions in audio and other functionalities1. No Display: The screen might go blank or display error messages, making it difficult to use the system1. Connectivity Issues: Features like Bluetooth, USB ports, and other connectivity options might stop working1. Audio Problems: You might experience issues with sound quality or complete loss of audio2.
  17. The 8 speeds are a pretty stout transmission, I would change the fluid and drive it for a while. If the TC is truly damaged, the shudder will return quickly.
  18. Start with the rear leaf springs, there are numerous posts on the site about the spacers, bushings, loose u bolts, and many other issues with them. 4", did they use shorter shackles in the rear? Do they have zerk fittings?
  19. In his avatar. Drives:2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 6.2L V8
  20. Found this for the Colorado's, let me see if I can find the Silverado numbers. There were 2947 Centennial Edition Colorados produced. 21. Great looking truck! Get it in and have the transmission fluid swap done to the new Mobil One. I am sure yours has developed a lot of moisture in it with that low of miles. Here is 100, have owned since 08/2018, about 20 miles on the clock when I picked it up. Best GM product I have ever owned, just went over 73,600 miles this week.
  22. New fob with the start button that can be programmed This^^^^^^^
  23. I gave mine a really good cleaning, getting rid of all the fingerprints, and any dust I could see. Has been working great again for almost 3 months. Have been using the hard keys and my Chevy app to control everything, just to keep the dirt on the screen down.
  24. The truck has started to sound like me in the mornings....crackling and creaking but I'm a lot older than the truck.
  25. My 18 has one somewhat loose, the other tight, been like that since day one of ownership.
