  1. yes it will shut off automatically, and think it is 15 minutes
  2. i use 2 flat head screwdrivers and compress them before removing the caliper. if they are leaking you are going to have to replace them
  3. oil pressure regulator stuck closed
  4. interesting, although i haven't scanned mine in awhile, last time i did i had no codes. i used gds2 to scan my truck. will scan it today and see if there is something there
  5. not in this case, a lot of other people have posted with the same problem. although i got more mileage out of mine, my truck did the same thing and since replacement it is doing it again and i don't know why
  6. the front brakes on these newer trucks are virtually maintenance free with the slide set up they have. the real problem is the rear brakes. i had 58k miles on my truck and the rear brakes were completely done, my 2014 went 120k before replacement. there is a design flaw with these trucks, at 58k the rear inner pad was gone and the out side was still at 50 percent. since replacing all the brakes i have gone 15k and checked the brakes during rotation and the rear brake inner pads are wearing faster than the outers again. there is nothing binding, the slides are free. i have never owned a truck that does this and cannot figure out why
  7. are the engine fans working properly, have you put gauges on to see what the actual pressures are.
  8. how many times have you taken it to the dealer for this , how many miles do you have on the truck
  9. my son still drives my 2014 and it is nearing 190k miles and all original power train. while the new trucks are nice, they do have a lot more electronics to screw up. i would wait if you can because the market is showing the price of these trucks will come down
  10. with all the problems gm is having with the 6.2, can you even get a new one
  11. put some gauges on it to see what pressures the system is running at. that will let you know if your low on freon
  12. the problem will be programming the tcm,ecm and abs for the different gear ratio.
  13. that number is for the 6.2 , 2015 -2023. i would say they would fit. the stock injector is 12720120 which was used in the 5.3 and 6.2 in 2021
  14. not overhyped in my mine, should have taken pictures. how ever the fact that they won't double check the work they did tells you not to go back. post your review as negative, but pics would have helped a lot
  15. the fans are controlled by the a/c pressure sensor here is the wiring diagram air conditioning compressor.pdf
  16. i agree with newdude and gangly, inline turbo 6 with a 6 speed manual
  17. was the tcm programmed and fast learn done
  18. you got warranty take it in. could be diff's or transmission. does the noise change in 4 wheel drive
  19. engine, transmission and mileage would help
  20. you need a scanner that can monitor the maf and o2 sensors. check all intake pipes an intake gaskets for leakage, check the pcv system also. any unmetered air getting in after the maf can trigger cat codes. you could also try the sco tty kilmer trick
  21. i would buy a scanner that can clear the codes first. the bcm seem to save resistive settings of the lights clearing codes even if there isn't any seems to reset the system
  22. that's an awesome idea, all the large diesel engines i work on use those clamps, does make life easier
