  1. If you don't want a tune you can use something this which is what I originally used(check and make sure this fits your truck) Hypertech 752501 Speedometer Calibrator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006RQ44O4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_P47AM0A8PKWZVMX432MY I've since switched to black bear tune and would highly recommend going that route. Made my truck drive like a sports car.
  2. The amp is mounted on the rear wall of the cab I believe. To be honest, I wouldn't even attempt to add this sub....even if I got it for free. It sounds awful. I'm looking into replacements now.
  3. The charging system on these trucks is headed toward fuel efficiency so sometimes it's charging when running and sometimes not.
  4. It could be the famous loose ground wires in dash board
  5. Custom tune with higher idle speed. Black bear fixed mine.
  6. An upholstery shop should be able to fix it.
  7. The dealer did this under warranty and yes they had to drop the pan and replace the sensor, harness and do a software update.
  8. I never really understood the purpose of the 8" kit when you can run the same size tire on the 6" and fit in more places. I have the 6" coiI over kit on 35x12.5s and love it.
  9. This is a great place! Welcome. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  10. Cost here in SoCal is about $2000 to have a shop regear a 4x4. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  11. This is a good idea but I'm not sure how the law would interpret this...if they even care. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  12. I would think the dealer you bought the trailer from should have checked to see if your truck can handle it....unless it was private party. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  13. Where does it say on the door frame how much you can tow? Are looking at the gvwr or something? You should be referencing this guide. http://letstowthat.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/2014-GMC-Trailering-Guide.pdf If you really have 3.08 gears then it sounds like your max trailer weight is 6600lbs. 14. You're sure it's not condensate from the evaporator? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  15. I don't have the xl or a measurement but heres a pic of my amp steps on a 6" lift and 35s Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  16. I went from 24k mile ranchos to fox coilovers and couldn't believe how much better the truck handled. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  17. Check the bars that hold the battery down under the hood. Mine loosened and it took me a year to figure out where the chirping was coming from. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  18. It will calibrate itself over the next few miles Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  19. I have the kit with 35s. It's settled a little in 13k miles but the ride is amazing. Has a tiny rake but that can be adjusted. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
