  2. You know there is a dukes of Hazzard fan out there that wants that truck Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe if it was a trail boss or ltz, but why a special color like that on a base trim LT? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  4. How can they say the seats don't get wet? I have pics with water all over my seats. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. The rear seat head rests fold down. It nobody is sitting in those seats, it makes it easier to see over your right shoulder Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. I searched cars.com and there are 2 orange Silverados for sale in the country. This one, and one in SD but that one has no pic so might just be a website error. The one above the window sticker says "$495 special exterior color...Tangier Orange" Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. So I am sure then you already checked to see if your bed was perfectly aligned with your cab? OCD x2 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. Also spoiler on top is black too Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. It's an LT not a work truck, but it has black trim by the front bumper? Maybe a government order that is being sold on the dealer lot? I posted that here because I had never seen an orange T1 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. What the.... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. How is the tire sound on the bfgs vs the stock duratacs? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. So I have had a loaner 19 base LT crew cab with the 5.3 L and 17 inch Bridgestone dueller light off road tires for about 3 days now. After a couple trips to work and a back country road trip last night I'm at about 19.2 mpg on the DIC. And that is driving about as conservative as I possibly could. So small sample size but same driver, same trips to work in the 2.7 was a solid 3 mpg better, for me anyway. Your results may vary. Most of my driving was in the 45 to 60 mph range. I bet if it was 72 on the highway the 2.7 would come back to the pack a little more. Also the 2.7 was a double cab with highway tires so that alone is gives it a slight advantage over the 5.3 I am comparing it to. Hope some more members with the 2.7 can share their results. 13. That sucks. What about the seats and all the sound absorbing material behind the rear seats? The water has to go through them first before it hits the carpet. Remember the service guys are only getting paid by GM to do the bare minimum so if you want stuff replaced, I would ask them to have the service manager contact the district rep to authorize it. Otherwise dealer service might have their hands tied. You should also call customer care and get a case number opened to document everything on the corporate level and have customer care send an email to your district rep as well. I would also request that the district rep personally inspect your vehicle. At the very least you might get the district rep to authorize an extended warranty for you if you mention your concerns about long term reliability and or new mold from the water damage. And don't forget to be strong in your demands but kind and polite too. Good luck. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. What is this sun thing you speak of? Have not seen that in 4 months. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  15. My headliner is toast so I don't think they really cared about it since it was getting replaced. I spent all day on the phone with GM customer care, my sales rep, and the service rep. Hopefully the stars will align tomorrow and they will agree to buy my truck back. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  16. I could be wrong but I think I starts at 100,000 not 0 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  17. Well I guess we can eliminate it being an early build issue then Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  18. What is the first 3 of the last 6 of your Vin? Mine was 107,xxx meaning it was the 7,xxx th truck built. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  19. Just the slider as far as I know Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  20. Gm customer care number is 1866-790-5600. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. If it is the cracked plastic like I have it could be getting worse with freeze thaw cycles if you are up north or you could have had some dirt/crud in the channel covering up the cracks. I would get some towels and stuff them between each headrest and the rear corner of truck. Make sure when you take it in you have the bulletin in hand (in this thread) and tell them you want them to use the CLEAR sealant gm specified, and that you want to personally inspect the window after they remove the spoiler to see where the cracks are if there are any before they apply the sealant. Also that you want a nice smooth bead of sealant if possible without getting it all over the window and truck like mine did. They will have to pull headliner down so make sure you tell them to take care not to get greasy finger prints on the headliner. I would also contact GM customer care and have a case number opened up for this issue. Document every conversation you have and take lots of pictures. Good luck. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  22. The gm bulletin says anything before 10/1/18 could have the issue. It is unclear to me of the upper glass rail guide is cracked from the window manufacturer or if it's cracked during installation. Great to hear yours seems fine. For piece of mind go at it with the garden hose and double check from time to time. If you catch it early you might save damage to interior Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  23. Look up bulletin #16-NA-361 harsh 1-2 shift upon first startup shift under light throttle. GM says it normal on the 8 speed. It has something to do with the initial clutch fill time of the C4 clutch. No fix for it. Gm says it's normal. I have driven more than one 2019 8 speed and they all do it. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  24. I have driven 3 2019 Silverados in 2 days. I checked each one. Once it is in drive, I can jiggle the shift lever up And down maybe 1/2 inch either way. It doesn't seem loose when running through gears though. If anything it feels stiffer than my 16 was. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  25. Well for example my truck was an early build us truck and has a bad rear window leak which is a known issue with US trucks built before October. If you let everyone know if yours is a 1 Vin or 3 Vin and build date, it might help narrow down the problem if others start experiencing the same thing. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
