  1. Anyone got a part number for the Deep WIDE MOUTH Camaro filter to match the deep pan ? is this correct number? ACDelco 24236933 i only find the deep pan on amazon but not the filter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YOBMWE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
  2. This allows for the transmission to hold an extra 2 Litres of transmission fluid,
  3. you need a recreational pilot license and a cheap c152
  4. the Allison is a by-pass filter, theres no need to drop and drain the pan once you got a spin on. my current set up cost about $80-90 , but the bypass valve is very important to maintain the trans cooling function , without it it will overheat.
  5. does the driver mirror project a chevy logo on the ground? who makes this?
  6. I wonder what Temperature it was at when it chewed itself up?
  7. i belive your correct, but Derale and WIX both sell adapter center stud in 3/4-16 for $6-$8 https://www.amazon.com/Trans-Dapt-1034-Oil-Filter-Nipple/dp/B000CPZVW0/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/136-4555928-7921826?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000CPZVW0&pd_rd_r=9ec8b77b-fd0c-4cb1-9e03-f66b91d94587&pd_rd_w=lROd9&pd_rd_wg=yyn3M&pf_rd_p=ce6c479b-ef53-49a6-845b-bbbf35c28dd3&pf_rd_r=R76Q8XA4DEXGZQRCBA6N&psc=1&refRID=R76Q8XA4DEXGZQRCBA6N
  8. ah perfecto mundo.. i will try this filter next
  9. what thread does it utilize i'm using this adapter.. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XONTPM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. ok after installing by-pass valve my temps are back to 135 F, gonna run this filter for a week then cut it open , post pics of the aftermath and debris in the filter then..
  11. who sells the screw ons with no anti drain back valve???
  12. OK just completed the bypass valve with a stock spin on filter, the anti drain back valve may not be an issue yet, i will run it for 500 miles then cut it open to confirm its filtering... before the bypass valve i was operating at 185F with the trans thermostat deleted too. now I'm back where i was after the T-stat delete (135-145 F ) the by-pass valve is a piece of brass machined to accept input and output trans cooler lines, prependicular to this, are two 1/4" fittings that feed my remote spin on filter. inside the brass valve is a bypass hole of 1/8" separating the 1/4" npt fitting, and creating a pressure differential for fluid flow. the valve can be Purchased from Frantz FIlters.
  13. driver passed out from wearing n95 mask https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2020/04/driver-wearing-n95-mask-for-several-hours-passes-out-crashes-into-pole-police-say.html
  14. i use a plant sprayer from home depot , filled with old used transmission fluid , i hose my frame down with it once a year. but i'm far from the rust belt
  15. amsoil might sell a by pass kit i'm gonna try running this full flow on my truck next. no bypass, just straight thru. i tried a spin on Derale adapter, work well but i feel the anti drain back valve built into a spin on filter is restrictive and causes the trans to operate at 185 degrees. i like to get my temps down to 145 https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Products-10102-Fuel-Filter/dp/B001ELZAUY/ref=pd_sbs_263_2/136-4555928-7921826?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001ELZAUY&pd_rd_r=58e83f13-deaf-42a4-ae96-7bc7f449a471&pd_rd_w=4ALr1&pd_rd_wg=teF7N&pf_rd_p=cc0adad9-73a2-470d-acda-37a71f8758ba&pf_rd_r=2GZSX6XE609X44WF5VX3&psc=1&refRID=2GZSX6XE609X44WF5VX3
  16. you could add a by-pass trans filter to it, and not have to deal with draining the pan anymore..
  17. GM is suffering from out sourcing , and pandemic issues. trust me nothing else out there is better, the global manufactering system is a mess
  18. could be many things, common failure is the lifters apart of DoD collapse and make ticking sounds. tell him to shave $5000 off to cover future repairs
  19. there is an upgraded camber tab thats desgned for offroading, its much stornger than oem style
  20. installing this to the trans, for better filtration. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XONTPM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this hose to complete the connections to the cooler lines https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4VKT61/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $3 screw on filter at 20 microns https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-PF61E-Professional-Engine-Filter/dp/B00496KFTW/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/136-4555928-7921826?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00496KFTW&pd_rd_r=84ce6410-bcdd-4215-a58b-85be99a3d652&pd_rd_w=Y0pHj&pd_rd_wg=yNr8g&pf_rd_p=ce6c479b-ef53-49a6-845b-bbbf35c28dd3&pf_rd_r=V4TRERJ7SXXJS2QM09JP&psc=1&refRID=V4TRERJ7SXXJS2QM09JP roughly $55-60 total improved reliability, i'll post pix if anyones interested ...quick update i have to install a bypass valve inline with the trans line, going full flow thru filter causes the trans to warm up much like when it had the thermostat installed. i'll do the bypass tomorrow see if it operates at a normal 145 temp
  21. that's the first place they look, how about a flush mounted contractor tool box with some kinda tonoa cover to cover it up
  22. anyone know of or use upfitter aux switches for the K2 truck with bench seat?
  23. seeing your from Texas, and being there is a mass exodus of liberal commies from Kalifornia to AZ,New Mex, And Texas area's, you guys can exspect more laws like this to place the blame and responsability onto the owner, even if your not really responsable. oh yeah, and the commies will make you pay for it with higher taxes. get prepared guys the commie wave is coming no matter who is president i personally recommend using and locking up an 80% gun with no numbers to be tracked back to yall'
  24. a set of police handcuffs under part of the dash frame of the truck would be an idea, the other side of the cuffs should wrap around the gun and trigger gaurd. this should be enough concealment and quick access for most while driving.
