  1. The caulking, believe it or not worked on the first try and is still working. If done right, the concept works and it may be better than a new window (that will also eventually crack). The sealer is flexible and shouldn’t ever fail. If done cleanly, you won’t see it either. Problem is usually the damage they do in the process. Leaving sloppy caulk residue on the paint, messing up the headliner or trim, scratching the truck, etc. Seen a lot of it here. Since this problem has persisted for like 2 years now, I would think most dealers have done a handful of them and have the process down. But just make sure to look everything over really well. Some of the things they screwed up on mine were not immediately apparent. Good luck.
  2. https://www.redlakenationnews.com/story/2020/08/17/news/governor-walzs-order-lifts-restrictions-on-hydroxychloroquine/91511.html ??
  3. Keep an eye on those resistors from Gen5DIY. Looks like you heat sunk them well like I did, but both of mine still failed within a year on my 2016, one right after the other. They sold me an upgraded set with two per side and they held up better but it’s a pain in the butt. They get really REALLY hot.
  4. So we can take the outbreak in Brazil as undeniable proof that HCQ doesn’t work. But it is somehow not proof that masks don’t work, even though their population uses them more often than just about any other country? I have trouble keeping up with what some of you consider to be “reason”.
  5. Maybe if they wore masks they’d be in better shape...oh wait...
  6. So dramatic...spitting on people eh? So for the past 250 years before mask mandates, it was commonplace for everyone here to openly spit on each other? Really? Seems terrible. It’s a wonder anyone is still alive. We should mandate them forever.
  7. Maybe. I used to think that, but I’m reconsidering lately. These lefties are really enjoying the power to control our every move. I don’t see them handing it back any time soon. They may even get emboldened to take things even further after the election. If things go well for them. The only real solution is every day people getting fed up and seeking out the truth. The simple statistics of this virus should set people free in a sane world. But some are brainwashed beyond reason.
  8. No mistake, they just ditched the rear buttons on Chevy for 2020. My 19 has them.
  9. It’s not even the masked vs the unmasked anymore. Masks, like them or not, are a given at this point. It doesn’t matter that they don’t seem to actually be working in practice. I never see anyone without them anywhere I go. Including myself. Nowadays it’s the people who want to stop absolutely everything over this for the next two years -vs- the people with enough sense to see that none of this is sustainable, let alone necessary. It’s been overhyped to the moon for political reasons. China knew the idiotic media here would do their bidding, and boy they haven’t disappointed. Half the damn country is brainwashed into thinking that millions of Americans have already died, and that they are next if we don’t shut everything down and destroy ourselves to remain living.
  10. I’m at around 17k and there’s a noticeable difference between the drivers seat, and the passenger seat that’s rarely used. I’m sure it happened slowly and subtly, don’t exactly know when.
  11. The T1 seats start out extremely hard but mine have settled in quite a bit. The K2 seats were still better. And the GMT-900 seats were even better than that!
  12. Transmission/ tuning/ driving dynamics. I would have kept my K2 if the T1 wasn’t so damn good to drive in comparison. So much sportier and engaging.
  13. Funny how the people breaking my balls about wanting to open schools a few weeks ago have been so silent on the subject lately. ? It’s like a tide is turning and I was right all along. Even their beloved saviors Cuomo and De Blasio have acknowledged opening up is the right thing to do. Watch for other Democrats to follow suit as they realize just how much of the public is against all of their nonsensical reactions to COVID. And schools are just one part of the bigger picture. People are fed up and starting to realize we are just going to have to live with this rather than hide from it.
  14. I have not seen anyone here or anywhere else do it yet on an N/A truck, save for one guy who did a cam and headers as well. The stock tuning on the K2s was horrible, clunky and lazy. It’s so much better on the T1s that a hacked ECM is a really hard sell. Especially given the huge amount of electrical issues with these trucks that make a warranty REALLY nice to have. Not a conversation I want to have with the dealer when the truck strands me. But if you decide to do it I’d love to see the results!
  15. GMT-900 was the end of that road and I’m always shocked when I see one in person. Extremely rare, not a good seller. And I agree, somewhat goofy looking. The HD wears that look a lot better if you can find a place to park. Just not where the market is anymore.
  16. https://m.facebook.com/groups/1940597442867191 Thats the one I’m in. Every other post is someone selling their truck to Carvana. ?
  17. $1400 is just for an unlocked ECM. Still need to buy like $500 in credits and pay someone to tune it. Not really a good deal.
  18. Technically just 19 (new body style) and 20. Some guys are running 2014-2018 covers on theirs but not sure which ones or how it looks. They are narrower than our trucks.
  19. It’s posturing, that’s why. Crime is becoming a big problem in the city...so let’s divert resources into something that’s not a problem? Then again, it may not take many resources to monitor people going into NYC...can’t imagine many people are interested in that trip.
  20. We had two days in a row under 50k new “cases”...yesterday was slightly over...51k I think. Either way, July was around 60k per day so it looks like we are heading in the right direction in a general sense. Certainly hard to make a case to lockdown even further under these conditions...we see how well that method works anyway. Hospitalizations continue to drop, and in my opinion that’s the most reliable and important statistic. The rest is noise. As Karnut says, only one direction the positive test count can go. “As deaths continue to rise” is another one. We could get to the point where one person a week dies of (or with) Covid-19 50 years from now and that statement would technically be accurate.
  21. People seem to be getting more money out of givemethevin.com. Their offer to me was 3k higher than Carvana. Not selling but the offers are very tempting if there was something worth upgrading to, or anything in stock at all even. But I guess that’s why the offers are so high. I’ve seen lots of people selling to both of these companies on the Facebook group.
  22. Tell me, what part of Twitter told Trump about HCQ? Just wondering since it’s chocked full of lefties without medical degrees who have been actively removing anyone who advocates it’s use. Including yes, many many doctors. Interesting how so-called “non-political” people fall all over themselves whenever someone makes an (inaccurate) political statement about Trump.
  23. Well, the data was indeed proven corrupt. He wasn’t wrong. Playing the messenger and simply passing along bad info doesn’t mean you yourself weren’t incorrect. ?
  24. Well, you got certain people who are still married to their initial take on the virus. It reminds me a lot of people with the weather around here. At least once a year, they forecast some ludicrous amount of snow, say 16 inches. When the system shifts and all that falls is 4 inches, many people still act as though it’s a blizzard and that we got the 16 inches. Cancel school, call into work, panic, etc. Inability to move off the initial projections of this virus and view things as they are is a similar condition...but a much bigger problem than overreaction to snowfall. Some people are also totally unable to defend their positions (or their lousy political affiliation) at this point. Therefore the only option they have is to personally attack the person delivering an argument that counters their own beliefs. “Well where’s your medical degree???” is a popular one that’s been thrown around a few times here. As if we are unqualified to criticize anyone in an industry that we do not work in. But really, we all live in the aftermath of Fauci’s directions. We can see the resulting human suffering and make our own assertions about his competence.
