  1. I agree. It says clearly that an authorization code is included in the kit. I would GM involved to get that $145 back. At least as an accessories credit or something.
  2. If it’s small enough, just do it yourself. If it’s only in the clear, touch up with clear. If it’s through the paint, use the white. I’ve had to do quite a few little spots on mine. Nothing I would pay someone to do when you can get it to be almost unnoticeable by yourself with a $15 bottle of paint from GM.
  3. Yep. When it comes to conspiracy theories I think of the made-up Russia collusion, not this. We know China has lied from day one and the W.H.O. did too. Anything polluted by Chinese interests, including the Democrats and media in our own country, cannot be trusted when it comes to this bug. China intentionally unleashing this man-made virus on the world is totally within the realm of what an evil communist superpower would do. And it will be proven eventually, just like so many other things I’ve said in this thread.
  4. The worst that happens is the parking sensors get wonky for an hour or two afterwards on really cold days. But I still do the touchless wash at least once a week. Better than nothing. The Megs ceramic is really good, but I switched over to this and it’s absolutely incredible. Lasts for months and the paint is extremely slippery. Set something on the hood and it slides right off. Short of a professional coating there’s nothing better. https://www.turtlewax.com/our-products/hybrid-solutions/turtle-wax-hybrid-solutions-ceramic-wax-coating/
  5. You might wanna rethink that...
  6. They can’t restrict the Chinese population to traveling only to the US. At best, they f-ed up and released it on accident. Still they could have closed down and stopped it at their borders. They didn’t. They didn’t want to be the only ones suffering economic harm. At worst, they released it on purpose. They didn’t care about other countries because they simply don’t care about anyone, not even their own people. Doesn’t mean the main target wasn’t the US. They knew it would make it here. And even if that wasn’t the specific intent, it’s clear that this has been manipulated here in the states to sink the greatest economy in history, and our president along with it. And after all, who has been so tough on China the past 3.5 years? Oh yeah. How many coincidences until it’s no longer a coincidence?
  7. Never had a flu shot, never had the flu. Sure as hell ain’t getting this coronavirus vaccine either. As far as masks, here’s how well they have worked in France: Same can be said for their lockdowns...they were one of the strictest countries early on. All it did was delay the inevitable, cause depression and bankrupt the country in the process. This is what the libs here want to emulate. October surprise? How bout more lockdowns on a phony second wave.
  8. Mine have been just fine.
  9. I think it’s a 2020+ thing. My 19 doesn’t either.
  10. Posts like this are all over Twitter already this morning. Not surprising, but demented shameless libs have found a way to work COVID-19 and Trump derangement into even this day of remembrance. These people are sick.
  11. Here’s a bailout concept that might work....just open up your failed cities! And Cuomo, allowing 25% indoor restaurant seating at the end of the month is not “opening up” and is not going to save these businesses or the city in general. People shouldn’t be celebrating that dope giving them 25% of their freedom back either!
  12. Sure, the rioters are useful idiots but they are NOT coming from every possible direction. They are coming from the left. You know damn well if there was any right wingers acting like that the coverage would have been different. Riots would have been called super spreader events and they wouldn’t subtitle a reporter in front of a war scene as a “mostly peaceful protest”. The people on the streets are loyal to BLM, and Antifa, both of whom associate with, and are funded by the Democrat party. Perhaps they tend to be more Marxist or anarchist, but the money is coming from mainline, America-hating Democrats in a not so well kept secret. To suggest otherwise is as unbelievable as the Sturgis paper. I’m truly thankful these Covid related “studies” continue to push the boundaries of believability. If there’s one universal truth about the left, they ALWAYS overplay their hands. They overplayed riots and are now overplaying Covid with this Sturgis nonsense. Makes my job easier debunking this crap.
  13. All of these lockdowns and restrictions...they are like a bad relationship. Easy to get into, but an impossible hell to get out of. And the longer it goes on, the harder it gets. If we would have told them to pound sand after the 15 days to flatten the curve, things would be different. Now that we are in what, day 457 of 15 days? I don’t know what the heck we can do. Everyone is adjusted to the new normal and many even prefer it. Some are still scared too.
  14. Here’s another one...it’s becoming common knowledge... https://nypost.com/2020/09/06/its-now-looking-like-the-lockdowns-may-have-been-a-huge-mistake/ I’ll continue to pat myself on the back for saying all of this 4+ months ago when certain people were still parroting the experts about how necessary lockdowns were. No, I’m not some clairvoyant here, it was simply obvious for anyone capable of critical thinking.
  15. So far so good. No issues and actually very accurate. A real thumper too. BCA is definitely an entry level brand and I didn’t expect much but I’m happy with it for my purposes mainly as a range toy. Side charging is really intuitive and I like not having to move my head away to charge it when shooting from a bipod. But it’s not a make or break feature, and I don’t plan on converting the rest of my rifles over. I would probably go .308 if I were you in these circumstances. And I would definitely try to sneak it in this year just in case.
  16. Forgive me for stating the obvious. As with almost any other bug, if there was one age group you’d want this virus to be going through, it’s young people. By and large they aren’t affected, and they can act as a wall. Establishing herd immunity and thereby protecting everyone else, including the cranky old farts here besmirching them. The other obvious point...people who are the most in favor of staying home, locking down, panicking others, etc., tend to be people who’s lives haven’t changed much with the lockdowns. At least in my own life, the guys who didn’t go out much before, and don’t need to work...they haven’t taken much issue with the blanket restrictions in place. Just human nature and that’s fine. But contrast that with a lot of the younger crowd and how their lives are upside down. No school for them (or their school aged kids), many of their low wage jobs cut, no recreation or entertainment. For a virus that does nothing to them, mind you. Now is it possible some of that misdirected anger comes out in riots? I dunno. No excuse for it, but it makes you wonder.
  17. Someone needs to keep the country moving and the money flowing. It’s those young guns stocking shelves and fulfilling your Amazon orders.
  18. Hot days I leave it cracked. Cooler days like we’re getting now, I often open it wide. I love it. No real downside until the truck gets a lot older and it potentially stops working. My back window leaked, my sunroof don’t.
  19. Well, it’s nothing fancy but I finished up my low budget Covid-15 in .450 BM. Used up a bunch of spare parts I took off my other ARs to upgrade, along with an 80 lower and BCA side-charging upper. Just kinda wanted to get one more in this year before the election and whatever madness ensues.
  20. It’s not like in the past week we learned 94% of deaths had other serious co-morbidities. We also didn’t see studies suggesting up to 90% of positive tests are in people who aren’t contagious, and thus the asymptomatic spread myth busted. There also wasn’t several studies released that showed the lockdowns to be ineffective and harmful. Oh wait, all of that happened. Still hard to say we turned a corner, but only because the libs won’t allow us to turn it.
  21. The GM does come with a MAF calibration and is obviously 100% warranty safe. On the downside, the dry filter and corrugated intake tube it uses are not optimal for flow. The Roto-Fab plays really well within the stock calibration while still providing nice gains. It is also nicer to look at IMO. I’ve put about 10k on mine and never had a check engine light, check air filter error or anything else. I’m sure you’d be happy with either one, just take your risk tolerance for aftermarket parts / warranty and oiled filters into account with your decision.
  22. One party has been a hell of a lot worse than the other as it pertains to the virus. Pardon the pun, but they have hypocrisy “locked down”.
  23. Talk about spin! Nobody is expecting perfection, maybe just a little consistency here. Or I dunno, maybe an apology? Instead of “THEY SET ME UP”! Heard five year olds use that one, right?
  24. Yeah, and of course the mob is following along. Making threats, leaving bad reviews. Kids that hate old, white rich people doing the dirty work of a 116 year old white millionaire. Go figure. You can almost guarantee this hair stylist from San Fran is a liberal. Unfortunately she’s learning a hard lesson about how her people really operate. Once you get fed up with their hypocrisy and stand up for something, you are done.
  25. How could she possibly be set up? What, did they chloroform her, drag her into the salon, pull her mask off and give her a hairdo?!? No matter what, she was breaking rules she herself has been forcing down everyone else’s throats. She knew it and didn’t care, just like all the rest of ‘em. I think like 25% of the posts in this thread are stories of hypocritical Democrats, why be surprised when she’s another...
