  1. So I have been following this thread for awhile now. I have a 2016 Sierra SLT AllTerrainX with the 5.3L 8-speed with just over 1500 miles. No vibration issues (knock on wood). So just from what I have read, this seems to be the list of stuff to look for: - balance of tires - replacing the torque converter - replacing or balancing the driveshaft - checking the preload on the rear axle pinion nut (backlash?)
  2. Maybe meet end of April somewhere near Detroit? I am in that area April 29 for a Tigers game.
  3. Does it rub anywhere? Zip tied anything?
  4. 275/60, is that bigger then what you had? If so, you recalibrate the speedo? Will that affect "actual" mileage if you dont calibrate?
  5. Finally got one "All Terrain" emblem to come out good with the Plasti-Dip. So I ended up spraying the whole emblem and then buying a wood burning kit from Lowes and using a "hot knife" to trim the red area to remove the Plasti-Dip from it. Genius!! ? BEFORE and AFTER and wood burning kit with hot knife tip.
  6. Then why would you have a truck then? ?
  7. Thanks for the video!!! So preload is checked when there is nothing in the differential but the pinion gear and yoke?
  8. Miles? Sounds like bad brake pads or warped rotors.
  9. Nice looking level and body lift. I want to do the 2" RC level. What are the advantages with the body lift? And what do you mean you are having you exhaust pipe raised?
  10. What is the offset? Do they rub at all? Trimmed? I am looking to do 33x12.50R20 with either -12, 0 or 12 offset 20x9 wheels.
  11. Looks just like mud/dirt to me?
  12. What is the size of the tires? Know the offset of the wheel?
  13. Bought some Plasti Dip and first time using it and I LOVEEEE the "GMC" logo now. This stuff is awesome. For the AT emblems, I attempted to score and peel the red area and it didnt come off good, so I will have to mask off the red area and try again. Here is the "GMC" emblem
  14. Thanks VTBulldog - if I had photoshop I would have done the same thing This gives me a better idea!
  15. I have seen only threads about people plasti dipping (or covering with vinyl) the GMC emblem covering the red area and keeping the chrome. Personally, the less chrome on my truck, the better. I have a matte black 2016 Sierra ATX and I think the red goes good with it. Has anyone plasti dipped the chrome and kept the red area exposed? Picture attached I thought I would just take some left over matte vinyl I had and wrap the "C" quick to see what it would look like with the red exposed and chrome covered. I like it. I might go this route with my emblems.
  16. Truck came out of storage for a bit today Front / Side
  17. I debadged my ATX and I am deciding what I want to do with some of the emblems. I might put a couple back on but I want them flat black on the chrome and maybe keep the red on the GMC and AT emblems. Idk...
  18. Looks like he is a Steelers fan Go Lions!!! Nice 2017 ATX
  19. Looseness of the CSS or the filler neck to the valve cover?
  20. Not to jack your thread but got mine installed Did you do anything for the drain? Added anything to it? http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/192702-allterrainx-2016-gmc-sierra-slt-all-terrain-x/?p=1935504
