2022 GD Imagine 2600RB or a 2001 Malibu Response LX. The GD is a perfect couples trailer for my wife and I and the gasser does a decent job with it. The transmission does run a little hotter than I'd like climbing the grades here in Arizona in the summer, but for every towing job it does, it makes 5 runs to Home Depot 2 miles from my house, so I opted for the gasser.

I blew that fuse, I think due to a faulty Furrion trailer camera adapter at one point. That was the only time I didn't have constant 12v to my 7 way. Just checked again and I have power now. Truck been parked for over an hour. Have you verified this with a DMM?

The updated controller fixed my issues. Also wired in a diode just to make sure the trailer can't back-feed, which is also working great. Also came up with a workaround for the running lights with PWM not being able to power up my cameras. I tied those into an existing 12v circuit off the house battery with a switch in the passthrough storage to enable/disable the running lights. What's cool about that is now I can turn those lights on/off anytime, whether hitched up or not to turn my cameras into a security system.

I forget what trim level you have. Are those the power mirrors? If so, set them to fold automatically on lock in the infotainment system. That's super handy.

Me too. Only nuisance is getting from AA to camera views or SiriusXM radio while underway. Otherwise AA is far superior to the built-in Google.

Anyone else with a 2024 notice that convenience settings will randomly change? At least a few times since I bought my truck, the proximity warning has switched itself back to the vibrating seat (which I hate) after I'd set it to use the beeps instead. That happened again today. Was backing into a parking spot when the seat started buzzing. Scared the heck out of me. Another one happened yesterday, which was the first time for this. My passive unlock stopped working. I'd go to unlock the door with the button on the door handle and all the lights would flash, but it wouldn't unlock. That was fun digging my key out of my pocket in a rainstorm yesterday to unlock the truck with the button on the keyfob. My last OTA update was in June. Going to see if there's a more recent one, but this is pretty dumb to have happening...

I tried running mine down around 50 in the rear and even with that, my tire shoulders are barely touching the ground if I do the chalk test. And the TPMS whined. You can apparently have the threshold of warning set lower. I might do that.

IDK. Engine on that SuperDuty, if it's still in there, is right over the middle axle of the trailer and there are three whole cars forward of the front trailer axle. Seems like the pin weight should be good. Guessing he's around 30k lbs.

Same here. The audio broadcast is ridiculously delayed on SXM. I pop open Android Auto when listening to games for this.

Another former adaptive cruise user here too. I tried it on my 2024 towing my camper cross country and it just made me mad and wasted gas accelerating and braking

What button sequence are you using for this? I've never had a remote start fail on my 2016 or my 2024 using the keyfob if I press Lock, Start, Start in about 2 seconds total.

He might also want to upgrade his springs in the front. The 6.6L iron block is a fair bit heavier than the 5.3L aluminum block.

You should get great mileage. I live in Arizona where 80 mph in a 65 zone is considered "keeping up with the flow of traffic."

press and hold the button on the keyfob to raise it. Lower is just a single press but raise, you need to hold. Assuming you have the power up AND down function.

I run a ProPride hitch and put load range E tires on my half ton along with Roadmaster Active Suspension, so I never had issues in crosswinds. I mean the whole rig would move around but it never felt sketchy. I still run the ProPride hitch on the HD but with far less weight distribution than before. It's considerably more composed in crosswinds, going down mountain grades, etc.

You'll really like it after 5-6000 miles. Brakes improve, shifting improves, power improves, fuel economy improves. I love mine!

both modules swapped out and both problems fixed!

I've only ever had the fast signal flash when towing a trailer, and typically it's 4 or 5 fast flashes before it sorts itself out and flashes normally. Are you guys with the issue having the fast flash without a trailer attached, and is it flashing fast for the duration of that activation? Trying to figure out if I have this issue or not.

Turning off the solar will help but you still might see it briefly from time to time. At least that was my experience before I bought a cheap diode and wired it in.

I have a 2024. It was diagnosed as needing a new trailer light control module in addition to the updated brake control module at the dealership two weeks ago, which is when they ordered the modules. Computer still saying the light module will arrive today. It's scheduled to go in for service tomorrow.

Yes. Waiting on the two modules. One is in. Other is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but I doubt that...

On my 4000+ mile cross-country towing trek with the camper, I cross checked the computer's calculation with the pump math and it was usually only .1 to .3 MPG optimistic. It wasn't a large percentage in my case.

I did a freeway run this morning in my truck too. 10 speed 6.6, speeds 75 to 80 mph. Best 25 mile stretch was 19.3 but I got 18.4 over the 160 mile round trip, verified at the pump. It was my first unloaded highway run since it's been broken in, and the last 50 miles was in a 20 mph crosswind. I'm VERY happy with that.
