  1. new truck inventory is way down here in MA compared to pre covid days..big discounts like before just aren’t there right now because they they’re selling everything that comes in.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’m curious as well.. I’ll try to get the code.
  3. Ride home was fine.. no CEL, truck was acting normal with V8/V4 modes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I ran into an issue this morning. I was on the highway going about 70 mph (flat terrain), the CEL came on for a few seconds (2-3 seconds), then went out. I noticed after that the truck wouldn't go into V4 mode like it always does.. It appeared to be running ok the following 20 miles or so to work, as I didn't notice any noises or power loss..it just would deactivate to V4..The CEL never came back on during the rest of my drive. We'll see how it behaves on my ride home this afternoon..Do I have a problem? 2017 Chevy 5.3.. 43K miles.
  5. I've been running 89 octane in my 2017 5.3 midnight DC since day one.. On summer blend (now) I average about 20.5 mpg (75% hgwy/25% city). Average highway speeds are 75 mph.. It gets to about 18.5-19 mpg in the winter. 10% ethanol here in MA.. I've also tried 93 octane and didn't notice a difference in mpg vs 89
  6. I've had a few.. LineX, Rhino liner.. My friend did my Rhino and put ti on extra thick.. I'd say the GM is almost as thick. I'm happy with it.. The only difference I've noted is that it's more slippery than the other brands..
  7. Absolutely. At the time i bought, there were no additional incentives offered if you used GM financing.. The offer at the time was 18% off sticker on dealer stock. It didn't matter how you paid for it. You can get a great rate, incentives and all discounts and rebates, but they're all negated if they pork you on your trade. They tried to screw me on my trade of a 2008 Tacoma.. KBB/NADA trade was $8000 - $9000 , they offered me $3000... After I got up out of my chair 2 or 3 times, I got my $8500..
  8. It shouldn’t take that long. I just paid off my Volvo... I had the title 10 days after payoff.. Call them and ask when to expect it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Is the issue your speaking of when connected via Bluetooth? Or CarPlay via a cable? Or both? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My dealer didn’t push GMAC financing at all. It’s only one of many financial institutions they use. They compared 3 or 4 then showed me the rates and I made the final decision.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Almost 2 years into my capless 2017... I bought a GM OEM cover, but only used it for a week or so because it was a pain to remove..That being said.. the filler seems to stay pretty clean behind the the filler door. At 32k miles, I haven't had any fuel related problems..so I don't use any type of cover.
  12. Is it just me? Or does anyone else fine removal of the spare tire tools a real pain.. I went to reinstall my husky gear box under the back seat of my DC.. man.. getting those tool back on that post was brutal! Lol!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. We had a 1993 940, followed by 2000 S70, followed by our current 2016 XC90.. Volvo for life! The wife won’t drive any other brand! Lol! Great vehicles! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Wow.. that is a strange issue. Never heard of that one before. Bring it to the dealer when it’s frozen demand a fix.. or call GM directly. Putting a cover on it is just a band aid. They need to make it right. I bought the OEM cap/cover on eBay for around $15... I found it to be a pain to put on and remove as it has a stupid plastic neck grip that’s operated by a key. The cap is somewhere in my cab since I removed it after 2 fill ups. I posted a pic of it in the above link (post #2) Then I mentioned it’s a pain in the ass (post #16) Lol! 15. What type of problem? Is it a fill problem? I've heard of vent tubes being twisted.
  16. GM makes a half ass lockable OEM cover. They’re about $15 on eBay or at your local stealership Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m thinking it has to do with the keyless ignition. I know from personal experience that it’s much more easier to leave a keyless vehicle running by mistake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’ve had rhino liners in the past which I thought to be a bit too thick. I like the factory one but it’s a bit slippery compared to the Rhino which was a little more rubbery/tacky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That absolutely sucks. Who are they to dictate when the truck shuts off.. wtf.. more ‘big brother’ BS in my opinion! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I find that manually unlocking the phone before plugging it in helps.
  21. They are trickling them out slowly... I don't think they're even building ALL the configs yet.. And from what I read, the K2's are STILL in production and will be deep into 2019. I think I saw my first T1 Sierra TV commercial just last night! Boasting about the new trick tail gate.
  22. Sounds like there may be a bad batch of displays? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. That's ridiculous. I expected and got perfect panel alignments on my American built Silverado. For over $50k, I wouldn't except anything less.
  24. Agreed. They definitely save wear and tear on the seat edge.
  25. Nice truck... does it have CarPlay/android auto? It looks like it may be one of the 2016’s when they had a supplier issue for the CP/AA radios. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
