  1. Thank you again! Always a huge help.
  2. Cover hasn't been off, I'm the original owner. Where's the vent fitting located?
  3. Much appreciated! Is it common for fluid to slowly weep from around the cover?
  4. Couldn't find anything in the search that mentioned the torque specs for the bolts on the rear cover for the 10.5 inch 14-bolt rear diff. I know the drain & fill bolts are 24 ft-lb. and I've found different torque numbers for the bolts on the rear cover. Anyone have the torque specs on these bolts? TIA!
  5. Although you did change the term of the original loan, the effect only primarily increased the principal payment in the 4 month period. 50k @ 2.49% for 72 months interest would’ve been $406 (vs. $402 for 48 mos.) But the total interest paid would be increased to roughly $3880 Interesting Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Really depends on a person’s relationship with the dealer. Not everyone has 5 dealerships within 40-50 miles of their home. If you only have one dealership in your town, you may not want to burn your dealer.
  7. That may be one of those docs that you wanted a copy of. The language in the document (which you acknowledge by signing) may indicate how they’ll get their money from you. Shady on their part though.
  8. I have the pass-through wiring hooked up on my passenger side headlight connection to a capacitor then to the relays. I don’t have the error message in my monthly Onstar report. I’m also using Hylux ballasts, so I cant speak of any issues with the Morimoto ballasts/igniter setup. If you got your stuff from TRS and you’ve got some time to swing by, I’m sure they’ll help you troubleshoot it. They’re in Atlanta and they’ve got a bunch of good folks working there.
  9. Are you running ballasts only or do you have a setup with relays?
  10. Did you have the factory projectors? If so, ever have the HID bulbs in those projectors? The light distribution looks amazing from the FXR.
  11. I have the Hylux 35w ballasts in the factory projectors. I am using a relay because I didn’t think the factory wiring would be able to run the ballasts reliably. It was a bit of a pain to get the wiring run, but that’s more because I’m OCD. Interesting to know that the factory wiring is sufficient for driving the ballasts.
  12. So just to be clear, you retrofitted HID projectors into your headlights and you plugged the ballast into the H11 headlight wire coming from your truck? No relay and direct power from the battery?
  13. The factory wiring doesn’t provide the power necessary to drive HID ballasts. You’ll need the relay and a capacitor.
  14. You can access that in your head unit. It’ll let you shut off approach lighting and stuff.
  15. I think others were having the same problem in an older thread and the consensus was that the torque converter would like to stay locked too long, causing the pulsating. People who had their trucks tuned said the problem went away. Keep us posted, hopefully GM has updated the software to eliminate this.
  16. I get a pulsating/surging feeling going uphill at 1/4 to 1/3 throttle. I attribute this to the transmission. Step on the gas, let it shift down and no more surging, just a smooth pull. The 6L90 does funnny things sometimes.
  17. Glad to hear this. I want to get the kit for my halogen projectors but there were quite a few reviews out there saying that the brightness difference wasn’t worth it.
  18. So I guess that’s a no... lol
  19. Did you actually buy a re-learn tool listed above? Most of the posts in this thread are written by people who’ve bought a tool from Amazon or EBay who’ve had success. There’s also a video showing the procedure on relearning the sensor positions in case you’re having a problem with the tool. Kinda seems like you didn’t bother reading the old posts and would just like everything spoon fed to you.
  20. New market segment: Pop-up Toy Hauler
  21. Well, that sucks but it does explain things. On the bright side at least your TPMS re-learn tool is not broken.
  22. What's the procedure for doing the relearn?
  23. Not sure where in that image you expect it to show full. Maybe you can be a little more specific and draw a red circle around the area. My wife has a 2013 Equinox 2LT, what digital image are you talking about? It's a simple monochrome display between the gauges that doesn't even display fuel level.
