  1. A proper muscle car in a bright, bold color with stripes is a completely different thing than a half-ton pickup truck in a bright, bold color with stripes.
  2. Please don't do this. This stopped being "cool" 10 years ago, yet I STILL see folks all giddy driving these things around - and yes, they are fully-grown people!
  3. The third brake light is melted too?
  4. Yes. 529005I.pdf
  5. I have the 6.2/10-speed and I DEFINITELY have the problem. ?
  6. Nope, the rear driveshaft. I experimented with all sorts of pinion angles and I was able to make the problem better/worse. Putting it in neutral takes the driven torque off the driveshaft and makes the problem go away. GM has 2.5 deg. shims in some trucks and none in others trying to solve the problem. Pro-Comp and Zone both mention this "inherent vibration" in the T1 trucks in their instructions. I will live with it unless/until GM figures out how to easily fix it.
  7. It may not even be the transmission. My testing leads me to believe it is in the driveshafts.
  8. Yes, CVs are longer. I just took a 300 mile round trip to Dallas over the weekend literally as soon as I picked it up from having the level installed. It drives fantastic. No shimmys or shakes and front-end alignment is perfect. No complaints at all. Should be good and settled by now too after 300 miles....front is a little less than 1/2" lower than rear. I'm happy.
  9. 2019 LTZ Z71 with GM 2" factory TrailBoss lift and 1.5" Rough Country leveling kit. Love the stance now. Next up....Ridge Grapplers and 1.5" wheel spacers. Maintains just the perfect amount of rake in my opinion.
  10. Switch into 4Hi and you'll find the rumbling is much less noticeable, if not gone altogether (at least on my truck). Makes me wonder if this is not front driveshaft or CV related. I had it pre-TrailBoss lift and I have it after TrailBoss lift, so it's an anomaly in the truck itself.
  11. I had the dealer service manager ride in mine today for this exact issue. He confirmed he heard and felt the rumbling. He has absolutely no clue as to the cause or fix. He wants me to drop truck off tomorrow so they can "go through it and hook up a picoscope". I don't feel convinced they'll find anything. I'm reminded of the little snippet in Pro-Comp's lift instructions....it basically says "2019 trucks have an inherent drivetrain vibration from the factory that you just have to live with".
  12. My God that's horrid. Recycled beer cans for light mounting brackets...
  13. Correct, AND the substrate as well.
  14. I guess. But I just don't care that much.
  15. Paranoia. I've wondered this myself for years. They don't want us to know their plate number because they think we have a spy in the DMV who can run the number and give us their address. Hundreds of folks on the road see it everyday so that theory don't hold water. If they are showing details of the belongings in their garage, I guess I get it....but pics of just the truck, no. What it amounts to is one person started doing this long ago and now most of the internet followed suit (think lemmings) thinking it must be a good idea.
  16. My God! ? I'd have a mental breakdown knowing all that crap is on and in every crevice of my truck!
  17. Yes, because you already have the longer and/or beefier CV's.
  18. Really? For a body alignment issue that can be corrected? Wow.
  19. I think this is a more widespread problem than they think because most folks just chalk it up to tire noise. I'm on stock Bridgestones so I hear and feel every little thing the truck is doing.
  20. 4" ReadyLift with stock wheels/tires. I can't recommend it though....CV angles are too great resulting in noise and vibration. Mine started immediately after install and is getting worse. ReadyLift says they are within "safe tolerance" but I cannot ignore the noise and rumbling it's doing. I'm taking it off this weekend and ReadyLift is giving me my money back. I'm just putting a set of 2" level struts on it and calling it a day.
