  1. Problem was with the guys who were installing the 2" lift key on their Trail Bosses /AT4s This Rough Country kit is definitely not that! LOL
  2. Whole different leveling setup than the standard lower key that many have tried using on the AT4 and Trail Boss. Which was my point in another thread where a member was having issues. There was a reason after all that this style of leveling kit took so long to be introduced. Proper research and development is the key to engineering success
  3. My earlier point exactly. More sidewall = more cushion for the impact of the road to be absorbed. 18" tire, best case scenario. 20" tire, not as good as 18" but much better than the thinner area a 22" wheel provides.
  4. These EcoTech line of engines consume some oil.
  5. Too much Rim, not enough sidewall for comfort. Again, my general opinion as I have had 22" wheels on a truck before.
  6. Autozone is currently at about $48 for a 5qt jug of Mobil1 Criminal insanity compared to wally world!
  7. I have test driven both T1 Silverado and Sierra trucks. I can affirm that the seats are not as comfortable as in my K2. This was also reported fall last year by some early T1 owners. Now that My Pillow has introduced a mattress topper, an auto seat cushion will soon follow!
  8. Minor software and electrical issues are nothing compared to over 300,000 2019-2020 RAM 1500 trucks recently recalled for Airbags not deploying in a crash and seat belt tensioners that do not work upon impact. I know which direction I would throw my hard earned money at for a new truck purchase.
  9. My vote is yes, but others may disagree. Best and final advice i can give would be follow your gut on what to do as far as new shocks and even Bilstein brand at that. Eibach, Pro Comp and even Rancho Rs7000MT are all monotubes that are available upgrades to the factory twin tube Rancho.
  10. I was not using an AC Thermometer Bear. All I had on me was an infrared RC engine thermometer. I think my problem was testing too quickly and not letting it cool for several minutes or the thermometer was not accurate enough. Temp was about 89 outside. I will go invest in one though based on your suggestion and report back. All i know is that I have colder air now then i ever did before after the Condenser replacement.
  11. Happens with the K2 trucks also. I have it from time to time when playing music from a USB drive in my Sierra. Usually wiggling it around does the trick!
  12. Yes our GM trucks have issues also. RAM may have a luxurious interior..... but is still plagued with problems.
  13. Over 300,000 RAM 1500s were just recalled for faulty airbags and seat belts not working in a crash.
  14. How about your Jingle issue as stated by others in another thread? ' Did the dealer come up with a fix for that?
  15. My money is on the condenser.
  16. They will grow on you. The T1's have on me. Although the 2020 Sierra HD looks more like the T1 Half ton. Where as 2020 Silverado HD and T1 Silverado are brothers from another mother!
  17. All GM trucks are created equal..... It's your Dealer that makes the difference, and that's the truth !
  18. Have you checked your condenser for the leak source?
  19. Great review Jeff. Thank you for sharing. Hit a railroad crossing soon and you should notice a huge improvement over the stock suspension you ditched. It will take a little time getting used to the firmer planted feeling but you will not regret the swap for sure Hopefully the $400 increase with 6112s over 5100s will yield further benefits down the road.
  20. Other than the JB weld fix one member has attempted, I wouldn't rely on it long term. There are actually 3 joints where it connects to the round dryer.
  21. I have said it before and will say it again. Automakers do not spend enough time testing new releases. As a result unfortunately, some very early first year owners suffer from it. I do not think anyone would buy a brand new car, truck or SUV knowing they are a guinea pig for engineers and Technicians during that first year until most of the bugs are worked out. You have the new 2.7L Turbo. I suspect there will be some problems with the new 3.0 Diesel as well.
