So based on what I saw this morning, I believe it may ever so slightly rub. Even though you are removing some of the width, you are adding about .2 inches on each side of the tire which will close the gap you are gaining. Honestly though I dont think you will notice it unless you do a lot of full lock turns. It's your call if you want absolutely no rub at all or dont mind the slightest rub sometimes. Let me what you do and how it works out and also if you have any other questions.

You should be fine since your rim has a positive 18 offset. Worst case scenario, it will rub the slightest amount but I dont think it will.

As @Sierra Dan mentioned, Chevy sells the kits for the Trail Boss and can be installed at the dealership. Keep in mind though that is a 2" all around lift kit. The truck does not sit level with this kit. My Trail Boss has 1.5 inch of rake in the back.

Let me check tomorrow morning. I believe you will be fine but I'm gonna lock my wheels from side to side and see exactly how and where it rubs.

All of the trucks have it however it is not installed until the dealer preps it for a sale. That is why some have it in pictures and some dont.

Yes you can but it depends on the width of the tire and the offset of the rim. For example a 35x12.5s on a rim with a positive 20ish offset wont rub but a rim with a 0 mm offset will rub slightly. What size tire and rims do u have in mind exactly?

Thanks. You can probably squeeze 35s on there if they are not 12.5 wide since you would be close to the height of a Trailboss with a level but still a little shorter. You could get away with 35x12.5s but they will most likely rub a little. You can for sure fit 33x12.5s. Make sure the 22s are either 22x9 or 22x10 because anything wider and they will stick too far out and rub. Also make sure that the wheels clear the calipers as the calipers on the 19s are larger and the spokes on some rims wont clear without spacers.

Since the tire measures out to be 32.8x12 and the rim has a positive 24 offset, I dont see a problem. However, keep in mind that the brake calipers are larger on the 19s and a lot of rims do not clear the caliper. It will ultimately come down to the angle of the spokes on the rim and spacers may be needed because of that.

I am running a 33.5x12.5 with a 0mm offset on a stock height Trail Boss and it barely rubs at full lock only. If you level the Trail Boss, you shouldn't rub at all with that tire size that you mentioned

I am not running spacers. My rims are 20x9 with a 0 mm offset. They honestly stick out around 1". The picture is a little deceiving because of the angle it was taken from. Here is a better picture. If you try and run anything lower than 0 mm offset on a 305 you will rub a lot. Mine rubs very slightly at full lock but it doesnt really bother me. Also, the width of the tire will definitely play a difference on how far it sticks out. Some tires claim to be a certain size and they are not. My Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs are 305/55R20 and they actually measure out to 33.5x12.5

I don't have an AT4 but I have a Trail Boss and I totally think the tires are undersized for the truck. I swapped mine out the 2nd week I got it. I actually like the stock 20s better on the AT4 than the 18s but not the tires they come with.

I did not recalibrate mine because it's only off 1 mph for every 30 that I am going so for example if my speedometer shows 60 mph, I am actually going 62 mph so it's not a big deal really. I am running the size you want to use 305/55R20 (33.5x12.5R20) and mine does slightly rub at full lock but it's not that bad at all. I have a 0 mm offset rim and if ur rim has a more positive offset then it may not rub at all. Below is a picture of how far they stick out with a 0 mm offset rim. I just saw this post but I have 33.5x12.5 R20 on my stock height Trail Boss with a 0mm offset rim and it only rubs slighty at full lock. You may be good to run this size with no rub.

This was an issue for me and several others when we first got our trucks but it was fixed with update V507 back in November. Have you checked your truck's software version to see if it is on the latest update? I believe the current update is V509.

The only way to run a 35x12.5 on a Trailboss is on the stock rim. You need a level to run that size tire on any aftermarket rims. Also, a 17 inch wheel might not fit as these new 2019's have larger front calipers then the previous gen. Even some of the aftermarket rims dont fit unless you run a spacer. There is a thread out there (see below) in which people are listing which rims fit so far. It has to do with the angle of the spokes. I am running 33.5x12.5 tires on 20x9 with a 0 mm offset right now on my stock height Trail Boss and there is a very slight rub at full lock. Any other questions, just let me know.

It definitely the last one . They are pretty pricey but they ride great and last a long time. They also are very quiet for a mud tire with large tread blocks.

I have about 30k mile on my Mickey Thompson MTZs and they look like brand new still. 15/32 of tread left. Came with 20/32

None of them are really okay since they are maxing out the angles on the Trail Boss/AT4. Will it fit, sure. But it may cause problems down the road with prematurely worn out parts. It's your choice what to do to your truck but there are a couple companies that are in the process of rolling out leveling kits that will specifically address this on the Trail Boss/AT4
