  1. Just did a test for the MPG to and from work on a full tank of gas, 355 miles, filled up just below E and got right at 16MPG. Trucks lifted 5 inches, 33's, tuned, intake, AFE Ypipe, gibson exhaust. I dont think thats bad at all, I was driving fairly normal as well not too slow or grandpa like. Tune is 89 however, i think my 91 tune should be worse, like 14mpg.
  2. 57k on my 15 5.3, tuned since 19k, going in for trans fluid change this weekend. Will be doing the diff service soon as well.
  3. I bought the wheels and tires together from a buddy, told me I can't do 35's without lifting it way more. And lifting it way more it rode like shit... So I am not sure what to do.
  4. Hahha that’s awesome. It’s a joke between my friends and I with spicy food I can’t really it. And how a lot of the social majority make fun of white people and spicy food. I always laugh when I see people behind me. It always goes the same way. They are looking, squint, point and then laugh ?
  5. Heres an updated video of my exhaust. Still using the Gibson dual sport with the MWA muffler. But I have added the AFE-pipe.
  6. Im sure this question has been asked, but has anyone noticed any shortened lift expectancy with their trucks tuned? As in engine or trans expectancy? I would think everything should be happier since the truck isnt lugging around anymore. Im usually around 2k rpm in any given 3-5th gear on the street and obviously around 1900 on the freeway with the 6speed. Also, side question, has anyone noticed any higher trans temp after getting tuned? Whats a normal temp range after the truck is warmed up? I am seeing about 185-190....
  7. Right on, they look good right? I like how the ends of the tube curve off towards the underneath of the truck
  8. Very clean truck!, Angeles Forrest highway? for the second pic? Or maybe Glendora Mountain Road? What were you shooting with?
  9. Wish I had 4x4. I almost got stuck today. I was legit a little nervous that I might have needed someone to get me!
  10. I used to work at K&N so I can give a pretty good review on the stuff. The K&N filters flow the most air out of all the other filters and filter companies K&N owns. That being AEM, Sepctre and Airaid. On my own presonal 15 5.3 I went with the Airaid kit with the full box design https://www.airaid.com/search/product.aspx?prod=202-285 I changed out the filter thats in the Airaid kit for a K&N blackhawk filter (which is an AEM dry flow filter with K&N logo) I wanted to keep with a black filter but the Airaid filter included in the kit is so damn big and difficult to take out to clean. So I got a large cone filter to fit in its place. Still flows alot of air. I chose the Airaid full kit despite most people judging against it and going with just the MXP tubing because of intake air temp or whatever. The air aid box has a scoop at the bottom to grab air from the bottom of the truck (lay on your back and you can physically see the scoop) I recently sold my CTS 2 Evo tuner which gave me intake air temp read outs and i shit you not at cruising speeds 75-80 my intake air temps were only 5 degrees hotter than ambient outside temp. I highly doubt the stock intake box could of done that, but i never tested it so i can't say for sure.
  11. Thank you. Greatly appreciated!
  12. N-Fab Podiums yes. So I have never had steps before so I almost ate shit twice already getting out. I just have to get use to it, but they are nice and tight to the truck.
  13. Guess I was the guinea pig for these steps. Lol no one had pictures of them anywhere, even N-Fab didn't have any.. But here they are N-Fab Podium steps.
  14. Did you know you cant remote start with the flashers on? I tried the other day, wouldn't work with the doors locked, unlocked, open door. Have to turn off the 4 ways.
  15. Does anyone have pics of the HPC1475CC-TX installed on a Crew Cab Standard bed? These are the N-Fab Podium steps.
  16. I dont have specific numbers to give you, but the consensus with long tubes, catted or not, and a good tune, (obivously intake, and exhaust) would net you about 25-30hp and 25-30 tq.
  17. Also showing my engine bay after my car wash
