I got the Sealight LEDs on it and it does give it a nice cut off line. I was surprised the stock housing works so well with LEDs. I also did aim them down to not be a dick. I drove behind my friend with a Charger for about two hours a couple weeks ago at night and I did ask him if they were super annoying and he didn’t notice my headlights and didn’t blind him. Whenever I’m parked in front of a wall at night time I’ll try to remember to take a picture of the lights to demonstrate the light cutoff. I’ll also note that I came from a KIA Rio and ‘upgraded’ to HIDs on it and that housing was NOT meant for HIDs or LEDs. After about a week of a ton of people flashing their brights at me I took them off and went back to regular bulbs. I haven’t had anyone flash their brights at me since I’ve installed them and adjusted the lights lower quite a bit. I don’t try to be a dick on purpose.
I think you'll also need to program the computer since that's what's needed to be done to add fog lights and cargo bed lights to the truck. But maybe you don't? I'd ask your local dealer and see if they can shed some light.
Looks cool but looks like they'll block the bed cargo lights and the tie down points.
I got my truck bed sprayed with Line-X Premium. Was in the shop all day yesterday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. But totally worth it. After a handful of scratches on the paint, it was long overdue.
I already e-mailed them but haven’t received an answer yet. Maybe you can drill holes into them? Wonder if the cables would be long enough. And if it’ll even look good. I don’t have front parking sensors so it’s all good for me
I just got my nudge bar in the mail from ShopChevyParts.com for about $550. Does anyone have the installation instructions for it? I didn't come in the big a** box with them. Dealer said they'll install it for $240. https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/exterior/tubular-nudge-bar-84027398 Tubular Nudge Bar Part No. : 84027398 MSRP $750.00*
I bought a set of in channel ones and it says they can’t be used in an automatic car wash, is this true and will they break or fall out or is this only to cover their a**? They’ve been sitting in the box for about a month now still contemplating if I want to install them or not.
Part Number: 84532302 Name: GM Handle / In-bed step handle I found it for $161.99 searching through all the GM parts websites. Ordered mine and will probably get it in a month and a half due to the strike.
Best way to remove it is with a fishing line. ‘Floss’ it up away from the truck and it’ll come right off. Clean up the remaining residue with a little alcohol or some other cleaner and you’re good to go. But the one I have has little channels for the water and debris to escape to.
You can definitely tell the difference in added wind noise. It can be taken off completely without opening the hood - tt's attached with the same material that the truck badges/decals are affixed with so there's no quick removing it. They provide you with alcohol wipes -- maybe it'll help with the ceramic coating? And thanks!
I got mine from the Chevy Accessories website. Took this picture when I swapped out my bow tie emblem to the black one. You can see the old one by the hood deflector so don’t think those little spikes are part of the molding. But I love mine! Looks awesome.
