  1. This happens to me where it sounds like something falls into the bed. The vents on the back of the cab have these plastic covers that pop out with air pressure changes. That’s what was making the noise for me, it was hot outside and I was blasting the AC. You can see the flap move if you are looking at it and shut the back door.
  2. Good thing I haven’t gotten my wheels yet, I was planning on getting the hypertech. I wish GM would come out with the code for this exact reason.
  3. Exactly my thoughts. From doing research, it sounds like this has been a problem since at least 2014 in GM vehicles.
  4. At least I’m not crazy. I was going to have them look but they wanted to take the dash apart. I didn’t want to risk a permanent rattle.
  5. Sweet, thanks. I have the WT, similar grille, and originally just put vinyl right there but it got holes all over. I’ll try plastidip this time.
  6. What’d you do to get the white behind the Chevrolet? Did you just paint that back plastic piece?
  7. Happens to me as well with the 6speed transmission. I just always thought the brakes were slipping but now it makes sense that it’s a hard downshift.
  8. Definitely keep us updated. Mine has done the same since day 1. Dealer said they’d probably have to take out the dash. I’m reluctant because I would rather turn recirculation off on the highway than have my dash rattle....
  9. So it turns out vinyl for this application may not be the best. Idk if it’s the Arizona heat or if it was the big rain drops. I have holes everywhere in the vinyl because it doesn’t have a flat background, it’s on a grid pattern. Time for me to think up a new way to do this, because I really like the red look.
  10. I plasti-dipped mine. Pulled it off, turned it black, then covered the black to paint the chrome outline. You can also buy a black one and change the chrome outline.
  11. Did mine today and it turned out awesome. Thanks for the advice!
  12. Just make sure to keep super glue handy. Broke my little plastic clips on the grill taking the original symbol off mine when I did it. Superglue fixes it right up.
  13. Thanks for the info! Now I just gotta find a dealer that will actually reprogram me for bigger wheels. The closest ones says they can’t do it at all.
  14. So you fit 33s with no lift on the normal suspension? Is this z71 or trail boss or anything? Asking because I got the WT (all I could afford but I still love it). I got 4x4 but can’t figure out my real max wheel/tire size.
  15. Who knows where to get the colored inserts for the “Chevrolet” grill? Adding red accents on my all black 2019 and saw one guy with them and he won’t respond to anyone where he got them....
  16. I asked the service advisor what i needed to do besides buying the remote start fob kit, and this was his reply: Install for the remote start would be $210 (1.5 hours of labor) as it requires calling general motors for a special calibration to add remote start to the BCM and both key fobs to be programmed. so it looks like you need to buy the fob kit, they’ll install and program, and you’ll be good!
  17. Did you ever find the answer to this? I have the WT, but with the automatic tailgate. Did you just have to buy the kit and install it?
  18. Highway speeds in recirculation mode I hear a whistle in my 2019 Silverado WT. Turn recirculation off and it goes away, turn it back on and the whistle is back. Anyone else?
