  1. I need to get mine done I’m at 5,000 miles and 43% pad life not as bad as some I’ve seen on here. I’m gonna get it done when I take it in for the seatbelt recall
  2. The OLM drops over time as well as with mileage
  3. Could of let it burn out then they couldn’t of said npf.
  4. It’s a closed pcv system that’s designed to burn the blow by also idk about this motor but some have a injector that’s sprays the top end to help stop the build up so in theory a fuel treatment could help with this same as a can it’s all theory until proven though and really the only way it could be proven is in a lab because I can be controlled where as if you did it based on real world then how it’s been maintained and driven comes into play.
  5. Finally got my mangaflow installed with the flapper removed sounds good but still kinda quiet I’m gonna try the exhaust tape and clamps on the resonators and see if that makes it any louder sounds a lot deeper the stock.
  6. Catch can I’ll pass on that I can understand why they use them on a high end sports car. I talked with a mechanic that’s next door to where I work been in business 30 years said if the engineers thought or said it needed one it would have one FWIW.
  7. See post above I’m going with the magnaflow #12259 will get it installed this weekend yes just swapping out the muffler and I have a new tip to go on as well https://www.magnaflow.com/products/12259-performance-muffler-magnaflow-5-x-8-oval-centeroffset-straight-through-performance-muffler#
  8. No more venom 300 for me ended up ordering a magnaflow after my order sat unanswered for 5 days with black widow exhaust I ended up cancelling it. Ended up going with the magnaflow 12259 Be in today hopefully installed tomorrow or Friday depending on when they can get it done https://www.magnaflow.com/products/12259-performance-muffler-magnaflow-5-x-8-oval-centeroffset-straight-through-performance-muffler#
  9. I measured my pipe 5.3L single exit its 3 1/4” so I got a 3 inch muffler also if you look at the factory performance tip for they’re 3”.
  10. I work at a tire shop we sell mastercraft tires never had a problem with them the cxt are a commercial style off road tire we sell a lot of them to ranchers there more rock resistant then the mud terrains. The falkens are just an all terrain more mild tread then the mastercraft. The new cooper at3xlt is a good looking tire too. The Toyo open country ct is a good tire as well.
  11. I’m just doing a muffler swap with a new tailpipe. Keeping my single exit with stock plumbing. Muffler with shipping was about with tax and shipping $170.00(venom 300 black widow) tip cost me $20.00 bucks on eBay. Install isn’t going to cost me anything a buddy that had a muffler shop is doing it for free for me
  12. It doesn’t matter will turn your single into a dual is what it will do. Personally I thought the cat backs as expensive when they use the same size or smaller then factory pipe.
  13. I just ordered the venom 300 by black widow hoping it’s the sound I’m looking for the venom 250 sounds good from what I read the venom 300 is supposed to be a little deeper
  14. Well looks like I’m on this forum to stay but I didn’t get the 2.7L turbo they sold it yesterday. I ended up with a 5.3L V8 Silverado double cab LT Texas edition. thanks everyone for the input
  15. Didn’t say they didn’t have them but the discounts are larger on the 2.7L trucks
  16. I’m hoping to get KBB out of it if I do I will be in the 2.7L Silverado already have the price worked out on the RST all star trim just gotta go drive it and let them evaluate my trade. Thanks hopefully it will work out if.l not I will stay in my Colorado it’s a 2017 with 13900 miles on it lol not like I need a new truck just really like the new Silverados and the tech in them.
  17. That’s how it is here up in the dfw area the 2.7L have a good discount on them
  18. Mine is an auto and I do agree it seems power happy in the higher rpm range. No tune on mine as of right now. But I’m going 930am tomorrow to look at the RST all star 2.7L turbo Silverado if I like it and we can make a deal I will drive it home. But for some reason the local Chevy dealerships want to pay cheap for the Colorado but the competing brand dealerships wanna pay around KBB value for it so depends on what they will give me for the Colorado I want at least $3,000-$4000 of equity out of it and according to kbb it should be easy to get but hasn’t been with Chevy so will see if I get it I will defiantly let you guys know
  19. New here currently driving a 2017 Colorado 2.5L I4 going to test drive the new Silverado with the 2.7L turbo Saturday. I’ve driven the 5.3L v8 already really liked it looking at a 2.7L RST all star edition double cab. From what I’ve seen on the reviews people seem to like this engine. Does it feel week at all during take offs or anything thanks.
