  1. Well my 2019 Sierra has been in to the dealership for the first round of attempted sealing of the rear window leak. Now waiting for a new window which is on back order. Recalls for minor things like programming, or alternator cable are one thing but you'd think by now the would know how to make a sliding window that doesn't leak. By the service bulletin I've seen the plastic track is actually cracked. And, by the way, the bolt holes that secure the spoiler need to be sealed properly too. My trickle at the left rear corner became a full blown running leak at both sides after the first service attempt. I'm guessing the aforementioned spoiler bolt holes are the culprits. Takes the joy out of getting a new truck for sure.
  2. No wonder the dealership wanted me to buy the extended warranty to cover the life of the loan. They knew they were going to see problems. You know windshields leaking were not uncommon in the '50's one would think by 2019 they would have figured out how to build a water tight vehicle.
  3. I've been trying to tell them the leak is ABOVE the window, is in the spoiler bolts. Water does not typically run up hill!
  4. Indeed! So they provide a feature that will help ya know when you're following too close? If ya can't figure that out you shouldn't be driving.
  5. From what I've heard the 2020's are leaking too. My 2019 has been in to be sealed and now leaks worse and on both sides. Originally it was just the driver's side. Next stop, new window. Takes the joy out of owning a new ride.
