  1. I installed the wireless charger from 404parts in my 2020 Trail Boss, and the look is just like the factory. The install was easy, and yes, it plugs into the back of cigarette lighter with a special connector, but after one year it just stopped working. Checked the fuse and the lighter still works, just not the charger. At this point I don't want to go through it all again, so I've left it alone. No issues with my auto-stop, but who knows since I've had another problem with this part.
  2. Agreed. It's slow with my iPhone 12 pro as well.
  3. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood to take pictures (as it was a bigger job than expected), but I took off the lower glove compartment box/door and then unscrewed the assembly around the lower glove box (note, there are two hidden screws - one by the center console and a second one under the plastic covering the fuses on right by the passenger side door (I didn't even know there were fuses there). I then saw the bright white oval plug on the left side behind the center stack console (can't miss it) and used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the white plug (it takes some force). Next I spent some time maneuvering the tube into place. Don't worry about bending it, it sprung right back into proper form. It took some work, but when it went into place everything was lined up perfectly. There's also a good video about the disassembly of the center console for another product that I installed at the same time (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eebcWs7vDw&t=2s).
  4. Well, I finally did the install today, and must thank all of you for your tips along the way. I went ahead and installed the AC tube too and also an Autostop eliminator behind the console switch. It took me a few hours, but as I sit and enjoy the finished factory look, I can appreciate my efforts as well as your own experiences on this forum.
  5. Here's another option... https://404parts.com/collections/wireless-charging/products/2020-silverado-sierra-k4c-wireless-charging-add-on-upgrade-kit
  6. Thank you very much! This is exactly what I was looking for... plug-n-play with a OEM look. Thanks!!
  7. I recently installed an amateur radio (Yaesu FTM-400XDR) in my 2020 TrailBoss. I installed it near the tire jack underneath the right rear seat and ran the wires through a knockout in the floor right beneath the jack. One cable to the rear for the antenna and power wires to the battery. Inside the cab, I ran a mic extension cable under the carpet and came up next the console on the passenger seat side. It wasn't that difficult of a job, and looks very professional.
  8. Good luck on the build. I have ordered all the parts, except for the air duct (Part No. 23391625). Where did you find that one? Several dealers have told me that its on backorder with no available date, and have cancelled the order. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  9. I've had two lifter failures on my 2020 Trail Boss around 15k and 25k. Dealer fixed it, but ultimately also dealt with GM directly. Ridiculous.
  10. It was useful for me when the car wash attendant locked my key fob in the car and went to grab a coat hanger.
  11. Thanks all. Dealer confirmed, this is normal.
  12. Hello all, I just wanted to inquire whether anyone knew why water sprays out under my 2020 Trail Boss after parking. I’m sure it’s likely from the AC, but it seems to spay out with force under the truck. Just curious.
  13. I had the same thoughts and updates as well, but all I know is that it's fixed on mine too.
  14. First, a big thank you to the individual who located the connector in the roof console. Second, thanks to all that have shared their input in this thread. I too was initially disappointed that my 2020 LT Trail Boss didn’t have an auto dimming mirror when my 2011 LT Avalanche had one, so after reading all the posts, I decided to follow through. It took about an hour, but I’m sure I could do it in 30 minutes now. It was a fairly painless process, and I was fortunate to only have a small dab of glue on the connector. I even pulled it loose with my fingers. Most importantly, thank you to all who have contributed on this thread.
