  1. I think he's more referring to the fact that the high country steering wheel is in a custom (which does not have radio control functionality)
  2. Mind sharing more info on the harness? Where did you source the lights? Thanks!
  3. https://afepower.com/afe-power-50-70042r-momentum-gt-pro-5r-cold-air-intake-system I used a 10% off coupon and at the time they also were doing an extra free filter promotion.
  4. Just got word my AFE cold-air intake is on the way finally. Can't wait to install it
  5. I think there is a disconnect in wanting some more performance and wanting something unrealistic out of a motor that just isn't possible. I am not sure what bucket the OP falls into but I can say that the statement that why didn't they just buy a larger motor just is a bit silly if you think about it. Do you same the same for EVERY 5.3L that buys an exhaust, intake, tune, etc? I think you are mistaken if you think more vehicles will start switching to lower cylinder forced induction motors given emissions and regulations but time will tell I guess.
  6. Would you mind sharing your experience with the stealthbox? What about it are you not happy with?
  7. I have one of the AFE intakes on pre-order but it's still not out yet and the estimated time was end of February for release. There just isn't really much out there at this time. https://afepower.com/afe-power-50-70042r-momentum-gt-pro-5r-cold-air-intake-system#overview
  8. None of them really sound all that pleasing but here is a video that goes over different set ups in terms of mufflers
  9. Use this video, it's very easy to do.
  10. I would recommend sticking with John (the email address is correct as you typed it), over LLJ Customs. Way better communication. He made a harness for me with the non-Bose but I am actually going to go a different direction then adding a sub only which is what I had him make for me. If you want, I can sell you my harness that I bought that is ready to go for adding an amp to a non-bose system (teal and almond connectors) with 13 ft of leads. I can e-mail you pictures if needed, just DM me
  11. I will take them if available
  12. I got it but its not required and actually opted not to install the anti-flicker portion. The lights will be highly unlikely to fit in the rubber caps if you have them installed.
  13. I have the same problem. Less than 1000 miles on my 2020 Custom though. Crashes periodically when I am using apple play.
  14. 2020 Silverado Custom in Northsky Blue Metallic, 2WD and 2.7 L, towing and "protection package" for 32k OTD after TTL Was something like 9,750 in rebates and a bit of haggling. Sticker was something like 40,3xx IIRC
  15. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/h11-led-headlight-bulbs-morimoto-2stroke.html?preselect=54761%2C49229%2C54671 I bought the anti-flicker when I got mine (just in case) but honestly they are not needed and will likely prohibit you from using the headlight caps to keep moisture out.
  16. Forgive my ignorance but what is gained by retaining the fix 82 when using the VXi line, shouldn't this be a redundancy given the VXi has DSP already in or do you need both for other reasons? Thanks
  17. Not sure that will work on the Custom, I only have the IOR unfortunately. No Bose either but that's probably for the best.
  18. Looking at purchasing a DSP in lieu of an Audiocontrol LOC (hated the LC7 I had in a previous car) and wanted to ask for recommendations. I was always an Alpine guy but it seems they are limited to amplifiers with built in DSP instead of standalone units. Looks like the JL audio Fix86 +/- JL audio TwK 88 (or D8) are the best options for adding a 2 channel (sub) and 4 channel (doors) amplifiers? Anyone running both the Fix86 w/ the TwK?
  19. The instrument cluster can be swapped fairly easy though from WAMS so if that can be done then in theory adding the LTZ wheel with the right harness "should" work no? only thing I can think of is if the IOR radio just has no functionality to have the steering wheel controls. Who knows though. I will probably just bite the bullet and try here in a month or two and worse case scenario I end up with a nicer steering wheel and cluster.
  20. Came here hoping to find good news but looks like this still hasn't been done just yet. Has it actually been tried and confirmed to not work or just the dealer saying they haven't done it so it "can't" be done?
  21. That's a great deal. My dealer gave me a quote of 850 installed. Will need to call around and start asking for prices from other dealers it seems
