  1. One of my buddies just bought a new Sierra last week and he's waiting on the one for his heated seats. He's got a button that doesn't do anything until the chip comes in. The dealer gave him some kind of $50 credit or gift card for the inconvenience.
  2. In my Silverado I went with all Memphis Audio Power Reference series speakers, two 10" Memphis Audio subs (can't remember the model off the top of my head), and a 700 watt 5 channel Memphis Audio amp powering everything. Factory head unit. Still in the research stage with my home audio. Have never put together a home setup before and not wanting to go with a sound bar or home theater in a box.
  3. I thought about it. My 2019 LD is worth more than I paid for it two years and 10k miles ago. But in the end I need a truck and I've spent a lot getting this one the way I want it. It's also my backup daily driver.
  4. No, mine has the knob by the steering wheel for 4wd. I'd imagine it's probably been done though.
  5. Glad to hear you finally got it done. Been away from the forum for a long time and just logged in to see what was new. I did exactly the same thing on my truck and I'm also very happy with it.
  6. The dual DRL and sequential turn signals are pretty cool. I have the ones for the 16-18 trucks.
  7. I got a cheap TPMS reset tool off Amazon for less than $20 that worked on my 2009 Silverado and later my 2019 Silverado when I switched to aftermarket wheels/tires. When you put different ones on they'll have to be reset or you'll have the warning light. There's Youtube videos about how to do it on specific vehicles. It wasn't hard.
  8. The shop I had install mine used leatherseats.com kits and it was $1400 installed. He did say the jump seat took a whole day to do by itself. I think I'm going to do the center console swap eventually, but didn't know it was possible at the time.
  9. Sure. Top pic was the day I bought it, bottom pic was earlier this year after I got the bumpers, grille, and headlights on. Haven't decided yet if I'll just remove the chrome lettering on the door and tailgate or replace it with black. Got busy with work and moving and haven't done anything with it since the bottom pic. The shop charged me around $400 to paint both bumpers and the headlight bezels. The plan was to sell the stuff I took off to make some of the money back, but it's all still sitting in my garage.
  10. I ordered bumpers and had a shop color match them along with the headlight bezels that came with the aftermarket headlights I bought. I ordered a color matched grille as well along with black wheels and black running boards. My truck didn't have the chrome on the mirrors or door handles, but I know there's options for those too.
  11. The fog lights I bought came with the bolts. I just took one to an auto parts store and matched it with the clips.
  12. My 1997 Buick Lesabre daily driver to keep the miles down on the truck and my 1963 Chevy Nova SS. The Buick isn't pretty and isn't fun to drive, but it's the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. The Nova has been on the back burner since I bought my truck. An LS swap is on my to do list within the next few years though.
  13. I used to have an old Lincoln and had the tweeters mounted on the A Pillar. I want to say it had 3.5" speakers in the dash. I think the crossovers were mounted in the A Pillar as well.
  14. These are the ones I have in my truck and I think they sound great.
  15. I went with all Memphis Audio in my 2019 1500 LD double cab. 700 watt 5 channel Memphis amp powering everything, two Memphis 10's under the rear seat, all factory speakers replaced with Memphis Power Reference series speakers. Still running the factory head unit. Cost me $2000 with install. Nothing crazy, but sounds great.
  16. I just started a new job a few weeks ago that's keeping me pretty busy. I did buy a home gym when the lockdown started so I could keep working out while the gyms were closed.
  17. Sure. I posted another one a page or so back with a link to a video of the turn signals blinking as well.
  18. https://youtu.be/DxfwlyeXVMU Just took this video and not sure how to post, so hopefully it's viewable. If not here's a pic.
  19. Thanks! Wanted it unique, but not too "aftermarket" if that makes sense. Those headlights have the DRL like the newer trucks, too. Like you said kind of a cross between the 18 and new 19. I like how the grille has Chevrolet across it sort of like the newer heavy duty trucks do. I think it all blends well.
  20. Here's my 2019 Silverado 1500 LD. Spent yesterday evening swapping my chrome bumper with no fog lights for this color matched one with fog lights, swapping my chrome grille for this one, swapping the grille emblem for the black one, and putting in those Morimoto headlights. Had the headlight bezels painted earlier in the week with the other stuff. Had the vinyl stripes done awhile back. Really happy with how it turned out.
  21. Here's my 2019 Silverado 1500 LD. So far I've added a 3.5" RC suspension lift, 17" Rockstar wheels on 33" Toyo tires, Borla ATAK exhaust with black tips, black running boards, tinted windows, added leather interior, swapped in all Memphis Audio speakers with 700 watt amp and two 10" subs. Next thing I'm doing is swapping out all the chrome pieces for color matched. Eventually I'd like the truck to be all silver and black. That includes the 4x4 emblems, Chevy emblems, and lettering if I don't remove it altogether. Tail lights smoked as well.
