  1. Gotcha! Ya I’m in the USA, so a little different. Thanks
  2. I have been told by a buddy who owns a 2016 with the 8 speed, that “he” allows the truck to run for 2 to 3 minutes and it never jerks or chars him after that, but if he jumps in it, starts it up and drives that’s when it’s does it?? Idk both my older K2 trucks did it and it’s the main reason why I bought the 10 speed. Always had doubt/worried about the transmission in the back of my head.
  3. My 2018 Sierra SLT 6.2L with 8 speed, Gibson Catback exhaust, S&B CAI, and Hypertech power programmer hit 130 MPH in a breeze, but my tires were only rated for that speed so that’s where I set the speed limiter too.
  4. My step dad got the 5.3L and 10 speed combo in his SLT and absolutely loves it. I can say it’s so much better than my 2016 and 2017 Sierra SLT 5.3L in the K2s. I didn’t know Chevy Silverado didn’t offer the 10 speed with the 5.3L. Is that GMC exclusive?? and yes the 8 speed was junk in my 2017 with the 5.3L and the 2018 with the 6.2L. It clunked and jarred all the time.
  5. To each their own! I don’t know where your getting your calculations of $20 to $30 for a fill up. I’ve owned a 6.2L for 3 years and the most I have paid for in difference from premium (91) to super unleaded (89) has been $12. It’s been roughly $8 per fill up the past year and half. So, you can think what you want but GM is a lot smarter than you or me and if they RECOMMEND it, then I would suggest using it, plus, if you have issues with engine and you weren’t running premium in it, “who knows”, they could say you nullified your warranty?!?
  6. This is so true!!! If someone is seriously worried about the $5 to $10 in savings on each fill-up then they shouldn’t be buying the truck with the 6.2L engine or the truck costing over $50k+ in the first place. I have only put 89 in my truck once because I screwed up and didn’t fill up in a bigger city and got caught in a small town with no premium. Truck ran fine but I didn’t beat on it or race it while I had lower grade in it. It’s a just a piece of mind knowing, I wanted the 6.2L with all its power…..I USE PREMIUM!
  7. I have to agree with you 100%. Stepdad owned a 2013 ecoboost for 6 years. I never was impressed with it. He Couldn’t ever get over 17 mpgs with it. Finally convinced him on a GMC Sierra with 5.3L and 10 spd combo. He averages 22 mpgs with it and loves it. Said has great power. Not the snap back instant “turbo” whoosh but more linear. I’ve also been really impressed with the new 5.3L/10 spd combo.
  8. Interior looks good. Like others have said. Screen isn’t sticking out like a sore thumb. Flows nice throughout the interior pic. Now give us more insight on engine options? I want more HP/TQ
  9. I had to have mine replace after 8 months. Bronze was peeling off as well. I as well, like the bronze look. It's just enough to offset the chrome. I love the look inside too around the steering wheel and radio. Hopefully this grill holds up better
  10. Here is a pic for @Transient of the trim pieces. I love them
  11. Thanks! This is the new “S” model from Kawasaki. It runs about $18k Comes with a 3 year warranty right away. Can add another 3 years also at extra cost. No one comes close to that. Most have 6 months or 1 year to start with. You can purchase up to 5 year, but it will cost you extra. I did tons of research on these UTVs and this one fit the bill. And every review I’ve read has stated they are very well built and reliable. That’s what I wanted.
  12. I pulled home the wife’s Mother’s Day present. I wanted a new Camaro SS, she wanted a side by side. Mommy won and so did the little daughter. Truck pulled 20 ft trailer pretty well. 30 mph crosswind, got 9.9 mpgs
  13. I find it very interesting you would take a K2 over the T1. I had 3 K2s and you couldn’t pay me to go back. The back seat now is so much larger and roomier than the older model. My 90 lb German Shepherd can lay flat on floor and 2 kids can sit comfortably on seat without bothering her. My 2018 she was cramped back there and the kids’ legs were always hitting her or resting on her. I won’t even go into how nice the rear air vents are. as for the front interior. The layout is almost the same as the K2’s which I really like but the added functionality buttons along the bottom make for easy access to “push” instead of searching through the infotainment system like other brands.
  14. Not surprised by this especially since they haven’t showed it off yet. How about GM just slam a 350 and 454 into their trucks with the 10 speed automatic or a tremec 6 speed manual, get rid of gadgets, gizmos, or touch screens. Just a regular Bluetooth radio, analog gauges, a full bench seat front and back (on crew cabs) and see how well the truck would sell??? Just a thought. I know there is more to it but many people don’t need all that “stuff” that can potentially go wrong with the truck and those things are what’s having the shortage in the first place. Am I wrong?
  15. Like I said if you DON’T NEED A TRUCK, sell!! There are plenty of SUVs on the lots. At least here in my area. A $hit ton of used cars are on the market. Down grade. Drive a car that gets great gas mileage for a year or so, especially with gas prices soaring. Put the would be payment on the truck in a savings account and then find another truck after it all comes back.
  16. I’m keeping mine. Had them looking for a white Denali 1500 but gonna wait to see what the 2022s come out with. I’m still hoping for a supercharged truck. Just saw the Cadillac spy shots of the “V” series on car and driver. Hopefully !!! I was offered $59k. Paid $60k for it a year ago and have 18k miles on it. I would take the cash, but I have a boat to pull and buying a side by side for the wife for a Mother’s Day present on Saturday, so I truly need a reliable truck. For those who don’t. Sell now. Get the cash and run!!! Unreal the prices they are handing out.
  17. Lol. Go buy a Ram then, have it recalled and fixed every other month. Geez I don’t mind the interiors at all they are functional, easy to use, easy to clean, and practical. I am really happy GM chose to keep buttons to control everything instead of hunting through the infotainment screen for them. GM easily beats Ram in fuel economy, I know of three people who own them, all with Hemi’s and 3.92 rear ended and can barley squeeze 18 mpgs out of them. The 5.3L is right on par with performance with it and the 6.2L will blow it out of the water. It’s a whole second quicker to 60. Pulling or not pulling. I will say my uncles Laramie does ride nice but he has already had air bag issues and it’s a 2019. So pick your poison. I could care less of a sunroof because 9 out of 10 times if I use mine in my High Country the sun beats down so bad on me, I close it. We didn’t even get one in my wife’s new Acadia because she doesn’t like them, plus, it’s one less thing to fail/leak. as for the texting, seriously, I’m so tired of people using their phones while driving. Pull over to side of road and read the text message. Or just have it already Bluetoothed to truck and CALL them hands free!!! What happened to the day when people picked up a phone and COMMUNICATED correctly. I went down to see my grandfather for his 83rd birthday past weekend and was almost sideswiped by a woman texting while driving. One hand on steering wheel and other smack dab in the front of her face. It’s a huge issue especially with this younger generation. the one thing I’ll agree with is the rear window. But I have been told it’s all 3 of the big 3 that are having issues. When you try to cut down on weight for FE, they use cheap plastic instead of metals and that’s where I have heard there having issues. Mine was right when I bought it where spoiler holes screw into top of hood, not enough silicon from factory. Took off. Resealed and it’s been fine for 18k miles since.
  18. That's a great deal. I had local dealership in town say the $59K that has been offered, they would match and use it on a trade in value not cash offer. The problem is I want a fully loaded Denali, white, with 6.2L and they can't find one, or dealership won't give them up. Plus they are all over $70K the ones I have found online, (over 500 miles away from me) rebates are at $5k where I am at.
  19. I agree. I can’t come close to replace it for what I have. I want a GMC over a Chevy and all the Denali’s around here are $70k. I’d be in the same boat I’m in now and not have my exhaust, tonneau cover, S&B intake, 22 inch wheels, tint on all my windows, aero skin bug deflector, and interior trim kit. There’s another $5k already.
  20. I just got offered $59k for my truck which is a 2019 High Country 17k miles with everything except power running boards on it. I bought it last year at this time as a left over. MSRP was $67 and they gave it to me for $60k plus 0% financing, and not including my trade in. So I have driven it a year and only lost $1k I’m seriously thinking of getting rid of it because they would cut me a check for about $10k. The problem is, what do I replace it with? the upside is I wouldn’t have a truck payment and be debt free on truck payment? I’m spending today unpacking at the new house and the wife and I are discussing what to do. I am truly dumbfounded on the prices of these trucks. Can’t believe I’ve driven it for a year and basically getting what they sold it to me for after incentives. Also, does anyone in here think I can get more? KBB posts it on high end at $59k. CarMax wanted me to come in before a quote when I put all my information online? And the nearest one to me is 2 hours away. Don’t have time for that.
  21. That’s what I wanted to know the PRICE. Hence why I called! And since no one answers the D@mn phone there, I sent out an email and got the answer that way. Another reason why I posted again with the price. To let everyone else know since it’s not posted on the website
  22. $599 for everything. That’s one day down sending in your ECM to them. Not a bad price.
  23. I tried calling again today and no answer. Was on phone waiting for 30 minutes this time. Just left it on speaker while I was finishing up some work. Also sent out an email, I want to know pricing because it isn’t stated anywhere on website.
  24. Of course no one answers today. On hold for 20 minutes. Finally gave up. Unreal. Gotta love COVID-19
  25. I’m very interested in this. I’ll be calling them today or tomorrow.
