Sorry to hear of your troubles. I've had mine (Ultimate) since July 2023 and no issues. Only have 5k miles on it. The battery drain on yours sounds odd & the need to start it every day to charge sounds ridiculous.

3/3/23 paid deposit on Ultimate SRW Titanium Rush. 4/28 no 5th wheel parts so have to wait for next allotment 5/11 dealer called-build date first of June 6/15 email from GMC that build has begun 7/5 email from GMC that truck is in route to dealer 7/6 Dealer called and said it arrived 7/5 7/8 drove it home

3/3/23 paid deposit on SRW Denali Ultimate Titanium Rush 4/28 rec'd call from dealer. Had an allotment but the 5th wheel package wasn't available. I chose to wait for next allotment. 5/11 dealer called with a June 1 build date.

I purchased a B&W MultiPro Stow & Go hitch (TS20067BMP) that is made for this tailgate. I set the height of the ball to work with all my trailers. I love it.

Love mine too. Carbon black exterior with the walnut interior really looks nice and I'm glad I got it. I struggled deciding due to not being able to see one in person rather than just pictures. I've had unsolicited compliments on it and wouldn't hesitate getting it again.

I agree. Seems like I have to smash the brakes to stop even when not pulling a trailer.

I use the B&W goose ball (TruckProUSA B&W GNXA2061) and it works great. This is with the factory hitch.

I rated my 2500 at 10k GVWR to allow me to pull a 16K trailer without a CDW license.

I ordered a 2500 Denali with the 5th wheel package. I preferred a factory install since it'll come sealed and undercoated. I've had a dealer installed 5th wheel and comparing them both really like the factory install. I'd wait for the 2500 for this and the ride as others have commented.
