I knew this and then tried it but had to return it because 76 mm was too big. Again outer diameter bottom is 75.29mm and F66 has 15 flutes, not 14 flutes.

Hi, I have been unable to find an oil filter wrench for oil filter PF66 (2022 LTD 2.7T). According to the link below, the outer diameter bottom is 75.29 mm (2.96 in) which seems to be an unusual size because the closest one I can find is 74 mm. I have searched and watched tons of youtube then will plan to change the oil and filter by myself for my 2022 LTD LT 2.7T. Before pulling the trigger, I just want to make sure everything is right. We know many use different brands of oil for their own preference and reason. I will just use Mobil Advanced Full Synthetic 5W-30 with a "Dexos-1" mark on it. I know more fancy/expensive brands of oil are better but I think it will be ok as long as the oil is changed at 5K miles regularly unless this specific oil does not go along with a 2.7T engine. Here are my questions.... 1. Can anyone who has used Mobil Advanced Full Synthetic share your experience? Good vs. bad vs. ok.... 2. Is using the OEM filter for this Mobil still ok or do I need a different/specific filter? 3. Does the drain plug seal (blue o-ring) have to be replaced at each oil change as well, how about the drain plug (it is plastic!!!)? My dealer has not charged this, which means it does not need to be changed at each time? On the other hand, Honda has always charged for a drain plug washer for CR-V every time. 4. I will keep the receipts of the oil and filter just in case to maintain my powertrain warranty up to 60K miles. Is it enough or should I do more? Any other good tips? Thank you.

I was told by a service advisor that a technician recommended changing the transfer case fluid when I was at my dealer for an oil change at 25,000 miles. I deferred it and took a look at the owner's manual showing changing transfer case fluid is recommended at 45,000 miles. Changing automatic transmission fluid and filter is also recommended at 45,000 miles as well which the service advisor did not even mention at all. I searched a little bit... some dealers also recommend it at 45,000 miles.... In addition, the owner's manual recommends changing engine oil every 7,500 miles but my dealer says it has to be done every 5,000 miles. Of course, they are using Dexos oil. I just checked the engine oil right before going to the dealer and it was pretty clean. I am confused these are the same trucks made by Chevy and official Chevy dealers use OEM oil/fluid/parts, but how can this maintenance schedule be different? They are just trying to make money? My friend, who is a local mechanic (he is not doing trucks), says transfer case fluid is pretty clean when he changes it at 100,000 miles for CR-Vs and other SUVs. I am driving my truck 100% on-road, barely putting some light objects on the bed, and never towing or off-roading. I think it is better to stick to the owner's manual. Am I missing something?

Kind of a dumb question. Per the manual, there are 2 air cleaners for our T1; "with high capacity 84121219 / A3244C" and "without high capacity 84121217 / A3246C" Mine is 2022 LTD LT 2.7T 8 speed. Which one should I buy, with high capacity or without? Thank you.

No offense, but I have heard fluid film eventually ruins our OEM wax coating. I don’t know it is true or not. Also, some say just applying Nox-Rust directly on the rust surfaces, the other say a rust inhibitor/remover/dissolver has to be applied before Nox-Rust. Can anyone confirm which one I should go and, if yes, recommend a decent rust inhibitor/remover/dissolver good for OEM wax coating before Nox-Rust? I asked this in another thread but haven’t got answers. My Nox-Rust is on the way. Thank you.

Could you recommend which rust inhibitor/remover/dissolver and protective paint before the Daubert coating you are using? Any tips would you like to tell me?

I noticed rust had begun especially around the shock mounts as well as the frame and rear axle when I recently swapped the rear shocks with Bilstein. They are now not that bad and look like a "normal process" to me. Because of frequent salt use during New England's harsh winter, I have pressure washed the undercarriage after each snow, which is the only thing I have been doing for my 2022. A lot of folks have their own preference to protect the undercarriage from rusting. I also think tons of work trucks and commercial trucks running around without "special treatment". I wonder how my truck's undercarriage will stand after 10 years if I just keep washing out only. Will mine be jackknifed 10 years later like old Tacomas do on youtube? Does anyone have a commercial undercarriage coating? Do they remove all existing rust before applying the coat? or Just forget about it and enjoy mine because it is a truck? Thank you.

Before applying Daubert Nox, should I sand down surface rust or can it be used on top of rust?

I will replace the factory rear shocks with Bilstein 5100s for my 2022 LTD LT this afternoon. I found 2 different torque specs for the bolts. Some say 85 ft/lbs for the upper & lower bolts. The others say 70 ft/lbs for the upper and 118 ft/lbs for the lower bolts. Which one is correct? Thank you.

Hi, what is the best way to delete "the chrome looks" of the front and rear chrome bumpers on LT except for swapping them with aftermarket bumpers? Painting vs. wrapping? I've heard painting over chrome is not a good idea and also 1-2 years after wrapping, it will stick to the surface making residues difficult to remove. If they are all good, anyone know any paint/wrap that best matches stain steel metallic? Thank you.

Similar case here. I plan to swap my stock Michelin primacy LTX 265/65/18 on LT with DuraTrac (same size as stock). What pros & cons will I have? I like DuraTrac’s looks but I think it will increase a road noise and make ride/MPG worse, but better in snow/rain. Am I right? Is there a noticeable change or not actually?

My previous 2019 WT did this but never had it yet with my current 2022 LTD LT.

I need to haul 4 adults in my cab for 5 hour long trip. Our crew cabs are generously spacious for this but the rear center headrest does not extend enough. It is not only comfort but also safety issue. I have found the front driver/passenger headrests perfectly fit into the wider rear center headrest holes. The rods of other rear headrests both sides are too narrow to fit. The front headrests are also height-adjustable!!! The only problem is they are bent too far forward pushing head uncomfortably. Also looks like it is very hard to straighten the headrest rods accordingly. Any one knows which vehicle’s headrest (if height-tilt adjustable, it will be best) fits into our rear center headrest holes? I tried my wife’s CRV headrests but no success. Sorry for this big font size… can’t fix this. something happened to my phone..

My stock 2022 LTD LT short bed becomes briefly "loose / unstable" only for seconds on bumps usually at high speed or cornering. Otherwise, mine is perfectly fine. I have read the old thread in 2019 below, likely fishtailing because of relatively lighter rear usually happening to one with Rancho shocks. Also some said "it is a truck!" Some had improvement after changing stock rear shocks to Bilstein 5100. My rear shocks are not Rancho. I had to trade in Wrangler due to death wobble and also 2019 Silverado WT after hydroplaning. Of course, the current LT does much less in severity and duration compared to priors but this feeling is enough to remind me that poor experience when having death wobble and hydroplaning. As far as I know, our Silverados are free from death wobble due to independent suspension (not solid axle). Also I didn't have this feeling on my prior WT but I changed the stock rear shocks to Bilstein 5100 right away for bouncy ride. I want to know whether I am the only one feeling this "loose/unstable" or others still have the same issue. Thank you.

Unfortunately, mine (2022 LTD LT) did not come with digital temperature display on the temperature control knobs (first pic) because of microchip shortage. If I buy and install a new panel with digital display knobs (second pic), do I still need a programing by dealer (~$150)or just plug & play? Based on my prior experience with 2019 WT that didn't come with LED bed cargo lights, I had to return them because I noticed they needed a programing after installation. If I don't need programing, installation should be easy, right? Thank you.

Wow, I just found this hole (marked in green on the picture) right behind the shift lever when I sat on the passenger seat. I don't know the name of the part (?steering column cover boot) but it is rubber. I put my finger inside but there is no extra folded rubber in it. Is this hole normal or mine missing some part? Can anyone check and upload a picture for comparison if different so that I can ask my dealer to fix? Mine is only 6 months old. Thank you.

I am not sure my engine oil is “Dexos Approved 5w30 synthetic” but I have changed oils at Chevy dealer. Yes, I know people in colder places also use our trucks but they also use engine block heaters that mine doesn’t have. Thank you so much for good information!!!

Temperature will drop to -14F in Boston this weekend, which is the lowest temp I have experienced. I need to start my 2022 LTD LT 2.7T at 1 am to get home after my work. Will cold start like around -14F damage the 2.7T engine? I will make sure not to drive in 5-10 minutes but just wonder what is the lowest temp our trucks become “unhappy”? Please share your experiences especially who live in cold places. Thank you.

My 2022 LTD LT came WITHOUT them . I googled, saying due to global microchip shortage. Can I ask a dealer to get them as retrofit service? Is there anyone who has installed them by dealer after purchasing?

I don’t think I have a medical issue. I swapped the OEM headlight bulbs of my wife’s CR-V with aftermarket LED bulbs when I did the same thing to my prior 19 WT 2 years ago. I drove her CR-V last night which was still amazing!!!
