  1. I stream high res lossless audio so use the truck hotspot when I am in it. also I like having access to maps on the truck and using Tidal directly from the system instead of the phone. I don't think I would pay real $$ for it, but with points I feel it's worth it.
  2. I just added an Alpine PXE-C80-88 DSP/Amp. replaced door and dash speakers, added a JL 10TW3. The factory sub is there (I am running it off channel 7 on the amp for a front sub). It actually does pretty well when it has power and good crossover points. 24 Silverado with UQA radio.
  3. I use my Chevy points and pay for wifi 6 months at a time (about 15,000 points or $3,750 of GM credit card usage which is easy with power/gas/water/fuel/and anything else I throw on the card then pay off immediately). The points I collect allow me to get basically free wifi and free service at the dealer. Can also use the points to buy accessories. Been working well for me!
  4. Thank you for this! Looks like the front doors are full range signal from the Bose amp. I think I am just going to run those into a DSP and then out to a 5 channel amp. channel 1-2 for the dash, 3-4 for the doors, 5 for the sub and disconnect the rear doors.
  5. 24 RST 5.3 10sp got mine when they released and installed it. No start situation and tons of codes. Removed and reinstalled 4 times, same thing. They said they were sending me a new one. Got the next one, same issue. Sending both back to them now. Without it, trucks running as it should be, and after a couple drives the engine light is off. No idea the issue but I sent them all info I could read from the truck with a scanner. We will see what happens! Vin 12th digit is 1.
  6. 24 RST 5.3 Z71 3k miles. I have this same issue but it's ONLY when the AC is on. Next time I am in for service I will mention it, but it may be the AC compressor.
  7. I use the hotspot on my iphone, and have an automation that runs. When the phone connects to CarPlay, it turns the hotspot on (and the truck will connect to that wifi hotspot) and then when the phone disconnects from CarPlay, the automation runs to turn off the hotspot. Works great for me and I can use the built in google maps.
  8. Yeah, the top leaf was all the way to the top c bracket keeping them from opening any further. I probably could have got it in there with some lube but didn’t want to go that route. Either way it’s working and I’m happy and I appreciate you for helping solve the only issue I’ve had with the truck.
  9. I did it, I ended up taking out the factory plastic pieces though, couldn’t get the rubber in there with them in place. Tested it and the noise is gone! Thank you .
  10. do i install between the 2 long leaves removing the oem plastic piece?
  11. I appreciate this thread. The clunking noise has been driving me crazy. I've lowered and tightened the spare, tried to shake anything and everything under the bed, sprayed lubricant on the leaves, nothing has worked. I ordered the spring things kit and REALLY hope that takes care of it. Its been happening since day one and now have 700 miles on the truck. 21 LT Trail Boss, springs marked mexico and built in mexico.
