  1. Any recent updates from folks who’ve added bigger tires on STOCK AT4 w/ 18” wheels?
  2. Remove the carpeted pieces if you’re going mudding or in the snow. Re-insert them for daily driving. I’m guessing that’s the purpose.
  3. Remember there’s a difference between Wireless Apple CarPlay and just regular phone/music over Bluetooth. Got a photo of your window sticker we can see?
  4. I have the 18” with KO2s (275/70R18) with about 100 miles. Like-new condition. Would prefer 20” with the Goodyear Territory tires or other ATs. I’d do a trade + cash for the AT4 20”. Near Portland, OR.
  5. Did those RB20s help reduce rock chips in rocker panels? They look great! Kinda remind me of the OEM High Clearance steps.
  6. These fit the Sierra 1500, yeah?
  7. Mind posting more pics?
  8. Like already mentioned, the vented seats blow air, not necessarily cold air. If the air in the cab’s cool, they’ll blow cool air. If it’s warm…. Well
  9. So, I really, really like this truck, but my 2021 AT4 is driving so much more sluggish than the 2021 Elevation 5.3L 8-speed that my wife, friend and I test drove. It’s like night and day. The Elevation’s throttle response felt like a V8. My AT4 feels like a V6. The Elevation was 8sp without DFM. My AT4 is 10sp and has DFM. Is there any chance either of those variables could be causing my AT4 to drive like trash? The AT4 threw check engine light yesterday and the OnStar app said Issue with Evap Emission System. Dealership saw the code P0455 (gross evaporative emission system leak), but CIL cleared when I d/c the battery and they can’t investigate til it returns. Could that P0455 be the reason it’s so sluggish?
  10. I think you’re right. I’m still perplexed why this 5.3L 10sp w/ DFM is so much more sluggish than the 5.3L 8sp w/o DFM. It’s like a night and day difference that me, my wife, and my neighbor all recognize. It’s my understanding DFM only drops cylinders at cruising speed on the highway, and not during takeoff. Any idea why I could be seeing such drastic performance gulfs?
  11. Any chance you remember which video it was? Searching TFL's stuff and can't seem to find it.
  12. I had the same issue and I think my truck, GMC Sierra 1500, was still in “demo mode.” There’s also a setting for “maximum” start volume or Something like that. May check your manual or settings to see if you have something like that.
  13. Ahh, gotcha. That sort of answers a question I had. I drove a 2021 elevation 5.3L that did not include the DFM (-$50 on the sticker). I was curious if the actual hardware was removed, or if that was a software removal. Sounds like GMC possibly removed the hardware?
  14. So, I recently drove a 2021 Elevation 5.3L w/o DFM, and now I'm driving a 2021 AT4 5.3L w/ DFM. I'm 90% sure the non-DFM had more get-up-and-go than the AT4 w/ DFM. It's possible there's an I'll know for sure after this weekend. I'll report back.
  15. This thing claims to disable DFM: https://www.rangetechnology.com/products/pulsar_lt/parts/22451
  16. Will a DFM delete be as if the truck never had DFM, or could there be residual issues by virtue of the hardware being present?
  17. I have an appointment to take my brand new 2021 Sierra 1500 AT4 to the dealership next week and I’d like to gather as much information from others as possible. I have the premium Bose sound package, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Monitors. I have all features turned on. 1. The rear Bose speakers are just trash. When I fade to the rear for my kids’ music, the rear speakers hardly make a noise. 2. The LKA doesn’t nudge the steering wheel like it does in my wife’s car. I see the alerts in the dash, but that’s it. 3. Blind Spot Monitor lights flash in the mirrors when the truck’s cranked, but they don’t light up on the highway when I pass other vehicles like they did in my Tacoma or my wife’s VW. Has anyone else had these issues? Is there a hidden setting somewhere I may be missing?
