  1. I ended up mounting an auxiliary 5v port with full time power. Works great. But yes, it's extremely frustrating they took away the 12v outlet, and the ability to select full time power with the F27/28 fuse. Dumb move.
  2. Hey GG - thanks for taking the effort to share those. I'm definitely not drilling holes for a tool case that claims to handle 75 Lbs, and there are scores of reports of broken hinges. If it was anyone other than RT making these things, I might risk it.
  3. Yeah, I've been trying to find the instructions for the SC-104P, but on every page across the internet, the linked instructions are for the SC-203P, for a FORD. There it says there is no drilling. I chatted with RT and they refuse to provide the correct instructions and claim there's no drilling. Typical BS with them. Lies to make the sale and out the door, then good luck if you run into issues. Went round in circles for 2 months on a replacement for a Revolver. On Amazon, sure seems like alot of folks complaining about broken hinges, etc. Now that I know RT owns UC, umm, no thanks.
  4. Interesting - I was just going to get the passenger side, to avoid the flip up handle issue, even though I have never used it. But when you look at that site, and select only the passenger side, it still says w/o the Multi-Flex: Will NOT Work w/ MultiPro/Multi-Flex Tailgate I have to say, after my last purchase from Real Trucks, which was a frigging nightmare, the last thing I want to do is risk ordering something that doesn't explicitly say it's compatible on their side in the event there was an issue.
  5. Unfortunately, I don't have any answers for you, but agreed, GM could do a much better job of providing instructions on how to organize music (audio) on a USB stick so that it plays nice. I'm finding every time I load a bunch of folders in the traditional hierarchy: Artist > Album > Song I get a ton of duplication. And certainly, it will not recognize any playlists. Its strange because my 2019 Escalade and 2015 Vette can play the same stick just fine. And worse, if you have alot of music, this scrolling lock on the 2023's until you come to a complete stop is mind bending.
  6. I was looking at those Swing Cases, but they don't work with the Multi-Flex. I opted to just get a couple of the collapsible crates from Costco, which are working out pretty well for now.
  7. Imho, I'd be very tempted to contact your local dealer you bought it from, and get them to push some consideration on the warranty 4K over is not much. You might get some help, but you will probably have to get it back local. Fwiw, KBB has a trade value of $228,657 to $32,482 and an Ave Retail of $31,656 to $35,761. Perhaps that will help figure out the numbers.
  8. Yeah, I'm not sure what the lowest possible current is that will allow an accurate read, but it certainly can use some downward adjustment testing. Clearly they are using a pulse width and voltage that is fine for incandescent, but is far too slow, too high of voltage not to trigger LED's. GM is smart enough to figure this out.
  9. I think you mean the Anti-Theft feature itself can be turned off. But the blinking while engaged is a flaw. You certainly do not want to be drawing attention to an unprotected trailer with flashing lights all night long. You shouldn't have to disengage the feature to avoid the attention getting flashing.
  10. Agreed - that is a very important distinction. GM shouldn't be held responsible for any non approved lighting, especially aftermarket retrofits. But, any newer trailer that came stock from the OEM with DOT lighting should be compatible. I will mention that I recently rented a virtually new tandem U-Haul with 100% LED's and they worked fine. But, there was a weird glitch where after I parked the truck, the LED's blinked all night long. Not being parked in the best part of this town, it did concern me that it was drawing attention. As we know, that is part of the anti-theft feature, but still irritating nonetheless.
  11. Awesome news. Hopefully there will be an upgrade path for the refresh 23's at some point. Not holding my breath.
  12. Thank you for sharing. While it's nice that GM is recognizing THEIR problem, seeing the entire automotive industry is going LED makes a bandaid solution, especially at the owners expense a questionable response. I'm not sure myself if the BCM controls the K68, or if that is individually programmable, but the appropriate response is to reprogram the sensitivity to account for all LEDs and the inherent lighter resistance load. To suggest it's the customers fault is a little off base, imho. Alternatively, they can source the 57003 and cover the install for those affected during the 3 year warranty period. If you purchase a trailing package, it should be updated enough to handle the modern trailers made during the last 4-5 years. Silly position.
  13. While I agree adding some resistance might help - as a quick bandaid, Imho, in this day and age, GM should have the common sense to recognize that more current trailers may very well be all LED. I would urge that the appropriate route would be to push GM for an update for the appropriate module programming to reduce the base line draw to resolve this glaring issue.
  14. Well, you also get the hitch view too. So you get 3 versions of the rear view, with the trailer line, parking grid, and no overlay, plus the hitch view.
  15. More so that with your very first posts, you couldn't help but to shoot a dart at a 2 year old post. That's just down right silly.
  16. Thanks for mentioning the leaf issue. I have been hearing the same thing lately and was imagining the spare tire was loose. I'll look toward the left rear instead. Thanks
  17. I'd agree. With the number of bizarre restrictions they have on this truck in the name of safety, the fact that you can drop the tailgate while moving, let alone in gear is kind of mind boggling. I can't think of any reason why that button should ever operate in gear?
  18. I think you need to differentiate whether the rust is sitting on top of the liner material, or is the rust coming from beneath. It appears to me as well that there is some kind of a contamination sitting on top of the surface of the liner material that is rusting or simply leaving a rust ring, and not the liner itself. Could be from remaining particles from something you've hauled, could be from iron rich water pooling or acid rain drying, could be any number of reasons that is not a defect of the liner. It's simply looks like a stain sitting on top of the liner material. I'd also suggest you get some iron remover and give it a scrub.
  19. For cabin filters, I really like the K&N. Easy to clean and quite economical.
  20. RPM's on a cabin filter. OK.
  21. Scratch that, I checked on Chevy / Access and it's showing now. PN# 84867168
  22. Thanks - I just found they don't make one for the 2023's yet.
  23. Hate to intrude, but can you leave the safe unlocked or does it automatically lock every time you close it?
  24. Hate to highjack, but I'm watching closely as well, but I'm looking to add the front camera to a 2023. I'm thinking whatever gets resolved here just might work for a front camera too?
  25. Interesting. I have the LZO with the NHT and frequently at different throttle inputs, I hear and feel small thump with the 1st to 2nd shift. 3rd and above are smooth.
