  1. Out of curiosity, does anyone know when was the last year on the upper level trims they stopped providing the under hood lights? I'm wondering if it was fairly recently, and the hoods are the same, and whether that lamp can be retrofitted?
  2. I get the Google Speech Services screen with every startup. Totally mind numbing. The issue with disabling GA is, I don't think you will be able to use voice commands which is pretty important when they lock the keyboard while moving. Instead of disabling features, perhaps the focus should be to "encourage" GM to fix the issue.
  3. Oh I know, that was sarcasm. This place is near impossible on a phone.
  4. Try this place on a phone.
  5. It was a 2014 which is pretty easy to crack.
  6. Yes, at least we know he was able to make it with the 200 gallon auxillary tank + 24. So the answer lays somewhere between 110 and 200 for sure. But regarding speed, even with all of the traffic jams and delays, he still averaged 80MPH so he was definitely doing over 100 mph in some stretches. Kind of fun thinking about this feat, but definitely not for me.
  7. I'm not so sure 110 would be enough. I did watch some of the video, but didn't study every word. But at ~2,800 miles at 110 gallons, that would suggest an MPG of 25.45. Seeing these guys are often running at 100 mph+, even with the great mileage of these 3.0L's, we all know they are a brick and the mileage drops pretty quickly at elevated speeds. I would guess he used a fair amount more than 110 gallons.
  8. Do you by chance have the TSB number on your paperwork?
  9. Well as an update, it happened again. Drove the truck all weekend, and used it Monday. Went to open the door yesterday and it was so dead the door wouldn't open without the FOB key. I just called to have the dealer flatbed it in. Very irritating. Yes GM Cust Svc, I gave them the case number provided.
  10. As a quick heads up, I placed the order for the PN 19370262 from Everett, and found out after the fact, it was for ONE of the 5 Leads that are supposed to come with that PN package. Most of the other Vendors are charging ~$41.xx for all 5 so this $28 for one lead seems odd. Always worth having a back up in the event something breaks. Imho, use one of the other vendors.
  11. I have not tackled this, and its a little lower on the list, but I think I just saw a post that the refreshes do have a two lead connector glued to the roof under the headliner for the lighted sunvisors.
  12. Thanks for your contribution Clue. Those Wmart LEDs are certainly an option, but I really don't want to deal with that coiled cable and control box, as I would never need infinite adjustability. Ideally, I'd like to find a smaller say 4 to 6 LED strip that's 6000K and fairly dim to match to OEM. I'm waiting to see what Minmax reports back before pulling the trigger on a few options from Amazon to test. Thx!
  13. This is great news. Thanks for updating. Now the trick is to find a small strip of LED lights that match the slightly blue tint and intensity of the stock OH LEDs. Hopefully you find a good match with the sets you have stored.
  14. Seems these trucks exhibit an unusually high number of chaffing issues.
  15. One option is don't use Carplay or AA. Only connect via BT for the phone. You should have no issues there. Apple 13 shouldn't have a problem, but yes this Infotainment system does require some power to run. Now that that I upgraded to a new flagship all is well.
  16. Sure hope they sprung for a rental car if they are still sitting on their hands after a month.
  17. Bravo hasn't been online for 10 months. This is an old thread. I wouldn't hold your breath for a reply.
  18. Jeez, this is driving me crazy. I which I could just turn it off until they fix it.
  19. How old are the phones? I noticed when I got my new RST in May, that my 3 year old Moto Z4 was struggling. It was working hard to keep up with the demands of AA and the infotainment system. If I had Maps and Spotify going, it was working overtime. Due to all of this, it wasn't keeping up with the wireless charger, and getting hot. After putting up with countless freezes and disconnects, etc, I finally upgraded to a new Moto Edge+ 2023 and every thing is fine now. It's having no problem keeping up with the demands, stays cool, and the wireless charger keeps it at 100%. My guess is, the old phone was running at 100% to try to keep up and couldn't, and as a result was burning the battery and getting hot.
  20. I would tell the insurance company that you gave Safelite a chance and they clearly blew it. That you want to bring it to the dealer to handle now so it's done right.
  21. Thanks for the news flash. Obviously you are unaware that these things will squat with less than 1/2 of the rated weight.
  22. Etrailer has a number of videos and it's a fairly easy DIY. I had the Airflift on my Tahoe with springs and it wasn't that bad. I would however opt to try to mount the compressor under the hood. I saw a YT video of someone who pulled this off quite nicely.
  23. I'm getting ready too. From what I'm seeing, Airlift and Firestone seem to offer the better solutions that are true onboard air systems.
  24. Hard is certainly subjective.
