i looked to see if Borgeson has a shaft available. Their shaft goes up to '19. I looked at part numbers for the 2020 shaft and it looks like it is compatible with trucks back to '17?? I called Borgeson, and the guy who I talked to (less than helpful) said the shaft only goes up to '19. He didn't offer any reason as to why or if it would work on the 2020. I think he was just reading what was on the computer in front of him. I got the impression he didn't have any idea ??

yep tried them. They keep moving the backorder date back.

So update: The summit white flares are not available anywhere. they do have a new part number, but there is 0 stock of those. The local accessories warehouse does have 5 sets of summit white flares in stock. However, they are not allowed to sell them. They are on LPO hold and have no ETA of availability. The dealer can get the pre-primed, ready to paint flares for me. They are the same price as the painted, but I am trying to get them to honor the 25% accessories discount. The body shop I use, says they would be about $400 to paint them. They will not touch the textured flares So I am looking at about $925 or so to get a set of painted fender flares. Should I do it??

if you have push button start: hold the start button (without foot on the brake) for 5 seconds. that will put the truck into run mode without the truck running. then reset the filter. turn the ignition off and it should be reset on next power up

thanks for posting that video. the clicking I have is definitely coming from those little white bushings/collars in the firewall boot. I have to take that apart and grease those. I think my ISS is starting to clunk as well

looks awesome. How much cutting/drilling was there with the CST? They don't have any instructions posted on their website. Cognito has more cutting than I am willing to do.

I have a set of Fox 2.0 front shocks for the 2020s that are coming off the truck today. I have decided to do something different. They are part number 985-24-240 They have less than 1K miles on them. Looking to sell, and give a decent deal

you will have to do a significant amount of trimming to get those to work. even more if you are not leveled or lifted. generally a 9" wide wheel with 0 offset is the "widest" you can go with minimal trimming on a 11.5" wide tire. a 12.5" wide tire increases the amount of trimming. it looks like a 9" wide wheel with a +18-20 offset is the best bet to avoid rubbing and possibly have no trimming or very, very little. Do more research before buying. custom offsets is a good site to look at pics and specs

Do the Bilseins ride better than a Fox 2.0? Seems like the Fox shocks are more controlled, not necessarily firmer, but not plush compared to the stock "Ranchos" In the past every Bilstein I had was way stiffer, seems like that may have changed recently???

I know the Fox shocks are different. I called Fox and they said GM shortened the travel on the 2020s for some reason. Hence the difference in part/travel numbers. I am sure the '19s work fine as some suspension companies are spec'ing '19 shocks for their '20 kits. I actually should have gone with the '19 front shock instead of the '20.

Has anyones truck done the new over the air update? supposedly this update is to address multiple issues with the infotainment unit and add new features like text messaging?

mine sat at the railyard for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3, waiting for a transport truck

i would venture a guess that the parts have NOT changed between '20 and '21 ??

i had the worst luck with my 2017 Ford F350. it was a pile. will see about this 2020 GMC. my Rams, 2011, 2013, 2018 were all great (except the 2013 track bar bracket recall)

what is your wheel and tire set up?

didn't even notice you were talking about a gas engine. my bad

mine does it. just a certain rpm range and at about 60 mph. my ram did it too. there is a mountain highway by me, every time i drive that road, i can reproduce the surge. both trucks. only notice it on that road i am pretty sure it is the torque converter locking and unlocking. i have found dropping a gear or just leaving it in 8, gets rid of it

first of all, good luck finding summit white flares. they are on indefinite backorder. I have been trying for a couple of months now. they have a new part number and that is not available yet. now, it is a pain in the ass to take the flares off and keep the clips intact. they break very easily. there are 23 clips per flare. 3 different types. 19 of them are $6 each at the dealer, and they are super hard to get. New flares come with all the clips
