  1. My AM reception crackles like its a blown speaker. This is how I feel about my 2014 GMC I AM NOT ENJOYING THE HELL OUT OF IT
  2. Mine is still making the same noise from rear suspension 7K miles.
  3. My seat issues just showed up at 6K miles. I had the vibration problem (fixed with new Michelins at my expense). It also makes a horrible noise from the rear end suspension (mostly when cold and damp), and my headlights fog up. I'm tired of taking my new truck to the dealer with no resolutions. I'm afraid to mod and have warranty issues. I think I will drive it like I stole it until something gives (until I trade).
  4. I would do this if I thought the Dealer wouldn't know like Moto said about the Black Bear. I asked my service writer about tune and he said dealership would definitely use it to void warranty work.
  5. I was told it's "normal" LOL
  6. Really like the turn down behind the rear tires. Any drone? Your exhaust guy did it custom? How much? Can you take a pic of your drop shackles? Really like your mods
  7. They are factory rims. Once the Michelins were put on it drives very smooth with no vibration.
  8. 2014 GMC AT 5.3 3.42 4X4 I had a problem with vibration and recently changed tires from BFG 285/55/R20 to Michelin LTX 275/55/R20. I also removed air dam, then reinstalled. Before I was only getting avg of 13 MPG. I also just had the recall done. Now I am at
  9. Is it not this one? http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/155536.html
  10. It would be like squeezing blood out of a turnip. I couldn't even get them to put different tires/wheels on it to see if that was the problem. I asked them to do that before I spent the money on the Michelins.
  11. I know, but I was tired of dealing with both the dealer and the tire shop. They are next door to each other and have a relationship. They wouldn't admit they might be defective, and the dealer also said they balanced within spec (backing them up). Kept telling me it was because they were an LT tire. I kept telling them stiffness had nothing to do with the bad vibration. I'm just glad it was only the tires causing my problem. I can enjoy driving my truck now. The only time I use my 4X4 is on the beachfront in the Summertime chasing the speckled trout.
  12. Ok, I got the Michelin LTX M/S installed this morning and my truck now rides like a Cadillac. It cost me some $$ though. My story is different than most. My dealer had the shop next door install BFG AT 285/55/R20 10 ply before I took delivery (charged me $800 with trade for SRA's). Mine would vibrate the passenger seat badly at 70-80mph. When I took the truck to the dealer for vibration (fire recall & clunk in rear end) they rebalanced (road force) the BFG's again, and said they were within spec. I still had same vibration. I took it back to the tire store and paid $324 additional for the LTX's. The truck doesn't look as good with the 275/55/R20, but I would do anything to get rid of the vibration.
  13. I will post up as soon as I get them on and test drive it.
  14. I'm getting the Michelin LTX M/S put on Friday morning at MY expense. If the tires are not the problem (dealer said it is) then I will be having a long talk with them about a resolution.
  15. Mine is going in next week for bad vibration around 75 mph, and I have BFG AT's that the dealer had the tire shop put on before I took delivery.
  16. Did new headlights fog up? I was told by my dealer today that they are vented?
  17. I would like to know what your fix ended up being.
  18. dredd: what makes you think it is not the tires? the shop may not have properly balanced the tires. Some shops and some techs at the same shop are better than others on a road force. Tire & Wheel Connection LP installed and balanced my tires, and that is all they do. It only does it bad about 72 mph, and I did test drive without detecting. I will report back with findings when I have time to take off from work, get the run around at the dealer, and be without a vehicle. The vibration is only 1 of the many issues.
  19. I forgot the loud ass clunking noise first thing in the morning. It sounds like the rear end is going to fall out. I'm embarrassed! On the other hand, my wife's new leftover 2013 Yukon we bought a week later has been great.
  20. 2014 GMC Sierra SLT AT crew cab short box Built in MEXICO 9/13 I have the vibration also between 65 - 75mph. The passenger seat shakes like hell, the steering wheel has bad wobble. My dealer had tire shop next door install BFG All Terrain 285/55/R20 before I picked up the truck so I don't believe it is the tires. I was waiting on the first oil change to have several problems looked at. Like most on the thread between my wife and I we have purchased 9 GMC trucks and Yukon's since 99. I guess I will have to deal with the BS (BEND OVER) and trade the SOB in on a TUNDRA. So far.... headlight moisture On Star has never worked sliding rear window noise bad vibration at HW speed And once you've purchased, GM, or dealer for that matter, doesn't care. REGRET is all I have Don't bother with "We are so sorry to hear, PM your VIN" LOL LOL
  21. I have the same noise, and got on the forum today to see if I could find a thread where others are having the same issue. I have a 2014 GMC AT 3,654 miles. I only notice in the morning when I back out of my driveway, and then leaving next 2 stop signs accelerating. I just went outside and bounced on my hitch and it made the noise once then nothing. I believe my problem will be the shocks. Even my wife new it was something in the suspension when she heard it, but take it to the dealer and they can't duplicate. Bad batch of Rancho shocks? or just POS?
  22. I have noticed this on mine once after a hard rain. Gone the next morning.
