  1. I saw on another forum that they seemed to track the "wind noise" down to the AC when it's on recirculate. If they are referring to the same issue that is. But FWIW I haven't experienced this issue with our '15 Tahoe.
  2. I've had quite a few sets of aftermarket wheels over the years and not one problem. in fact, I can only recall a minute number of posts regarding out-of-round wheels that were immediately replaced. As far as looks go, the sky is the limit. Regarding oem, check eBay for take offs and replicas. I've also owned 2 sets of GM replica wheels and they're every bit as good as oem. The bottom line is get what you like and don't give it a second thought. You have absolutely nothing to be concerned about.
  3. RC has good leveling kits and the 5" kit is solid. The 3.5 and 7.5" kits...not so much.
  4. When our beagle was s pup. She doesn't protect much though. My Glocks do that.
  5. Makes sense. That would be due to the width and not so much the height. Combine that with stock offset and you get rubbing against the suspension. Add spacers or mire offset and you transfer the rub to the fender well.
  6. Say what? The wheels rub but the tires don't?
  7. Many years ago I got my K5 stuck pretty good about 50 yards off a road. My dad showed up in his F350 to help me out. His got stuck about 25 yards off the road...lol.
  8. Preach on brotha.
  9. Did you regear the truck?
  10. I'd still pull the wheels and check. I wouldn't take their word for it, because they may just assume the tech did his job correctly. If it was a balancing issue shouldn't they recognize this during the process?
  11. I think the Velocity wheels are okay but look much better in chrome or all black.
  12. I've heard disconnecting the battery for s few minutes works in this situation. Otherwise head to a place like discount tire or the dealer. DT usually does stuff like that for free.
  13. Sounds like the shop cut some corners to me and judging by the Nexen tire banner, thats likely. Most seedy rent-to-own shops that sell super cheap wheels and tires do shotty work. Anyway. I think the truck looks sick. I've seen a lot of the newer GM trucks and SUVs running 24s and they look to really belong with the new design. So I think 24s would look great. But I like the wheel design. You don't see much in the way of custom trucks on this forum, so don't expect much love.
  14. Cut some bowties out of my left over vinyl and slapped them on the centers.
  15. I wasn't trying to dis your wheels. I thought about purchasing those in chrome 22s, but to me they look phenomenal up close, but they look like different wheels at a distance like in the 2nd pic.
  16. I honestly don't know. On a truck like mine they would rub. The 14 May be more forgiving.
