  1. First 3 are usually done based on the wear of the part at the time. Everyone drives differently so those parts will wear differently. All figures in miles. Doubt you'll get 80k from your tires. Condition of tires and handling will tell you. Visually inspect them Brakes you may get more than 80, depending on how you drive. Change when they show the signs. On my 2004, I'm still rocking original at 140k. I know many on here change before 80k. Again visually inspect them Synthetic oil with a quality filter, generally I'd say people may stick with 5k - 7.5k max. 5k is more my preference. Some prefer 3k Tranny fluid, I'd say you're spot on. 50k Don't forget diff fluids. Plenty of other opinions will be posted, be patient
  2. So you ran out of fuel? Do you hear the pump prime when you key on? If you hear the pump at key on, then try some more fuel, but if you don't hear the pump, you may have toasted it if you ran it dry. Good luck
  3. the metal line is the trans cooler line. Transmission fluid flows through it. Rockauto will list them as oil cooler lines, under the transmission category
  4. Call NAPA and confirm. I looked up at rockauto and crossed over
  5. 20828695 NAPA NOE 8095233
  6. just a few of the threads............... https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&as_q=best+oil+%26+filter&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=all&as_sitesearch=www.gm-trucks.com&as_occt=any&safe=images&as_filetype=&tbs=
  7. You have to a have a few more posts before you can send a PM to another member
  8. On some types, from what I've observed. Production is behind. Some material availability is a problem. Local window manufacturer has trouble getting the vinyl and fiberglass material to build frames with. I think they even told me there was an issue with the higher end, insulated glass. Seems like there is plenty of "builders grade" out there still at the box stores. Again price is up. I was really hoping lumber might start dropping a little after the first of the year, but no. Then when you see a roll of copper wire double in price over a few months. I don't recall it being this high before. It might have been and I've just forgotten. I always remember being able to buy 250' rolls of 12/2 for $15 dollars back in the early to mid 80's
  9. Not only gas prices but building materials too. Several projects have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely after we had to re-bid using current pricing. Until supply catches up, if it can due to future environmental regulation that may be imposed and of course Covid BS, prices will remain high. I said this in another thread, I've put off building another house this year due to increased costs. If I built it, I doubt if I could sell it at the price it would require when I was done. Everything has doubled, tripled, or quadrupled it seems like. I'm glad I'm well stocked on copper wiring for a good while..... it's about double what I paid for it
  10. Welcome
  11. Could be stepper motor, but also could be that the motor has been replaced by this point in your truck's history. If so, it's probably they didn't get the needle set in the proper position after rebuild
  12. Here's one from a member here that he posted on another site. Plenty of Youtube videos out there too. https://www.truckmodcentral.com/threads/how-to-flush-your-transmission-on-a-gmt800-gm-truck.4699/ Also, here's a search of this site with more threads for info. Here's general search that has videos
  13. Pinned the other poll thread. Please refer to link. Issue solved. Thread locked https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/234880-poll-does-your-truck-have-the-rear-window-leak/
  14. You make the poll, one of us can make it a sticky
  15. Let us know if you start craving human flesh.....
  16. I've had both of the Pfizer shots. Last one a month ago. No sore arm, no side effects from the shots
  17. Here's something to get you started http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/engine/plugs.html
  18. You could always weld a socket to it
  19. You're having an issue with ISS and the lower bolt/nut where it attaches to the short shaft that comes up from the rack, correct? So you turned the nut the wrong way and you were threading the bolt in from the backside and it has jammed tight? I guess I'm not understanding the "thread side towards you" part
  20. Trapped air can cause this issue. But a temperature blend door not working can be the issue as well
