  1. Yes, this is one solution, however, for me, it is not always needed. If there was an option to lock it into place only when needed, that would be worth it. I use my "step" a lot, as a step. I would prefer to not to have to click that every time to release the step, only deploy it when I need to, to hold cargo. So basically, invert the setup, push the button to release it, and lock the flap in place, rather than auto deploy.
  2. Any pictures of the spot in question?
  3. I was going to say, I'm good for 22 at that speed with a 5.3, then realized the 6.2 has to work less (more deactivated cylinders), so that is possible...
  4. I'm one of the few 10 speed owners with issues. 1900 miles, one of the shift solenoids in the valve body ****** the bed. First and second gear, that's it. No reverse. Once it was fixed, and, now at ~13k on the odometer, zero issues, and still love the way it shifts. I'll chalk it up to a random defective part and move on.
  5. It could actually be the transmission fluid pump. I thought I had motor issues on my 2014 5.3, with a knock similar to that, and they diagnosed it as the pump. After replacing that, the truck was silent. Granted, a 6 speed and the "old" 5.3 but...... Also, after they fixed that, I drove the truck for another 25k with no issues until I traded it in.
  6. Mine got installed this past Saturday. I can also confirm that XM loads faster, and the song title / artist shows up faster also. So far, so good!
  7. Just happened to do a search for this before posting and, yes, same problem on my 2020 AT4. Time to call the dealer....
  8. 5’6” here, after opening the door, I get a running start and leap in. I consider it part of my daily cardio workout..... ??? Seriously though, love the truck.
  9. I installed it without the foam. I’ll see if it leaks. If so then I’ll install it.
  10. Ok, got my LoPro delivered today. Going through the destructions. Only question I have is did any of you use the bulkhead seal with a spray in bed liner or no?
  11. I put down a blanket on the seat base. He stays off the back. His head is mostly out the window. Lol. I have to worry more about drool on the paint.
  12. Tried to add one more to my previous post, but the files are too big. Had to get one with the puppy in it.
  13. All waxed up for a Spring and Summer, anybody have any spare arms I can borrow for a few days while mine heal? Woof!
  14. Sorry for the confusion, I meant the auto open / down feature. I wasn’t aware that they had an auto up / down tailgate? Maybe it’s only on the Chevy’s? thank you everyone for the input. Ordering my LoPro today.
  15. Even when pushing the tailgate button inside the cab? The Tailgate fully deploys?
  16. Ok, so I've read through multiple threads on tonneau covers on here, but none answer the question I have, so here it goes.... I had a LoPro on my 2014 Sierra, and liked it, until it started leaking, because the foam in the front of the bed fell out. I'm taking the blame for that one, because I installed it myself and probably didn't do it right (lesson learned). Other than that, I loved the features. I want to go with the same cover again, on my 2020 AT4, but my main concern is the power opening tailgate. Does anyone on here have the SAME tonneau cover listed, with the MultiPro tailgate, and if so, does it interfere with the auto down feature, or the use of the tailgate in anyway? I'd rather try to avoid buying a cover from the Stealer, which seems nearly twice as expensive as this LoPro, and not as nice, simply because it "works" with the power tailgate. Again, please let's keep this thread on point, and ONLY if you have a LoPro on your Sierra with a power down tailgate.
  17. And that would be me. More gory details. Lol
  18. 2020 GMC AT4 5.3 10 speed here. Have just over 2k miles on it. The only hesitation I feel is if I’m light on the throttle, the shift from first to second has a “soft lag”. If I give her some gas off the line it shifts quicker, but definitely no clunk. After that, the shifts are nearly imperceptible. At least until the pressure control solenoid went for third gear on the highway and I had to have the truck flat bedded to the stealer. Waited a week for a valve body replacement. Got the truck back two days ago, seems ok, but is in “relearn” mode. I have to train it all over again. Granted, I haven’t heard of many, if at all, issues with the 10 speed, hoping mine was just a fluke. Love the truck otherwise, coming from a 2014 SLT. The biggest difference is the headlights actually light up the road! ?
  19. Nope. I never set the parking brake in the garage. Got in the truck and the parking brake was set. Different sound than fuel pump.
  20. When I put mine in reverse, it didn’t disengage. I had to turn it off manually, even though I didn’t engage it. For someone not paying attention and just throwing it in reverse, would be in for a surprise.
  21. So I was washing the truck in the garage today, and I heard a noise come from either the gas tank area or the rear driver side wheel. My fob was in my jacket on the steps, far away from me. I get in the truck to leave, and notice the parking brake was on, from the red idiot light. So at least I know what the noise was. Is there some sensor that if the truck rocks one way or the other too much it will put the brake on???? edit: Forgot truck type. 2020 GMC AT4 5.3 10 speed
  22. So, reviving an old thread with an update. After nearly a week of the truck sitting off in an airport garage, the radio MAGICALLY works now.
  23. Put me in, coach, I'm ready to play! Same damn issue here. Worked great yesterday, just so happened to have an hour ride to the airport today, and no audio the whole ride. I didn't even think to check for the updates status. Just had the truck about two weeks, coming from the previous generation, theres still things I'm learning...
  24. You can try..... I ended up having a shop replace all my bolts with studs and nuts, while he was in there changing the plugs and wires. Ended up having three bolts broken. Never had a smell or noise, so I was lucky, no warping of the manifold. Once you remove the wheel well liner, and tire, it’s pretty easy access to everything. Good luck!
