    GMPartsGiant say the part is discontinued. GM Parts East, part not available. ​I received my switch today, # 23154702 after two previous order (above) were canceled. For some reason these switches are getting hard to come by. If your thinking of doing this mod I would try and get a switch soon.

    A big thank you to schlegle1 for this information. I did this mod on my 13 and signals were plug and play. I have held off doing this mod because of the issue with the turn lights in the mirrors since I don't have the knowledge of tracing wiring or voltage requirements if different for the LED turn signals. ​I received my switch today after two previous order cancellations from different parts warehouses. For some reason these switches are getting hard to come by. ​Great write up!

    Viktorrocks15, you will have many friends on this forum if you can share with us the wiring process that is needed to make the signals and puddle lights to work. As stated I did this mod on a 13 and the functions were all plug and play. The power fold feture is important to me but being able to make all the mirrors capabilities work is our ultimate goal.

    Please read post 163 & 164. Power fold option was discussed and was found to work on a 2014 LT with just the switch and power fold mirrors installed. You may not get the signals and puddle lights to work without additional wiring.

    If I understand your statement, the power fold function should work with most trucks, assembled both north and south of the border with the mirrors and switch, but turn function and puddle lights may not. My main concern is power fold function and the turn function and puddle lights are secondary.

    Has there been any confirmation of wiring issues within the trucks? Been told that some trucks built in Mexico don't contain the same wiring harness as trucks built here in the sates.

    Then I would try and locate someone with the newer style and compare front and rear mounting points... Let me know if you need more photos.

    Check to see if your mounting pins are in the same location. You just need to pull off the cover and compare them to the photo that I posted of the location pins.

    So, just for confirmation, please confirm my assumptions of your success: Your truck is a 2014 LT ? You added power fold mirrors ? You installed the power fold mirror switch GM part # 23154702 ? and that is all you did to get your power fold mirrors to work? If any other parts were needed include them if you would. Your response will be greatly appreciated... Some have been posting that their turn signals and puddle lights don't work, and those are not my main concern. Thank you in advance for your response.

UPDATE When I ordered the part I had to include a vin number, and I was promptly contacted this am and told that this part will not fit my LT. I replied with I still want to order the part...

    I believe because of the compression of these engines, or at least the 5.3. Even BB advises to run minimum of 89 octane.

    I have read that the wires may be a different color but the position in the plug are the same. Best is to pop the plug and that will allow you a bit more flexibility to slide the diode in. Took me 3 times and 2 diodes but I did it...

    Yes, I can. Cut all wires restricting it from removal from home, place in a safe area outside the house: grab a 12 gauge and commence firing...

    I must agree totally: If you are in doubt just look at the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. All 3 of them that I have owned were so plugged up to conform to EPA emissions from the Feds: all that needed to be done is open them up and allow them to breath... Just about everyone I knew and road with did at least a stage 1 which consisted of less restricted mufflers and opening up the air ways... I even devised some rubber hoses to spit the oil out on the road instead of back into the motor...They all ran much better with a little aftermarket toys... and sounded better too.

    I have not contacted Justin about my 1st to 2nd shift issue. It seems the cold might be part of the issue so I am still evaluating... As for the rework that I had Justin due to allow trans shift to correspond to throttle pressure, I really like it. When I take off at a slow pace my trans shifts about 2200 and doesn’t make the engine whine out to 4000 or so… I am getting my desktop ready to go into the shop this week... a few issues need be corrected... The issue with the possible V4 mode is on a back burner right now, but using the “Range” does seem to help.

    I was able to do this successfully on my 2013 ext cab but with my 14 crew, as I am following this thread, it doesn't seem anyone has successfully completed the upgrade using original wiring, or adding a missing wire harness. It seems to me it is something that has to be added to the BCM and so far it seems this is not possible. On my 13 I tapped into the mirror motors and added a momentary switch on the dash face that worked until I tried to unfold the mirrors in an ice storm... bad move.

    I finished my cover last week. I had to respray the paint on the cover because it came scratched... May try and get it color match to the truck someday.
