  1. Pulled the trigger on a set of 37x13.5r17 toyo m/t's for the 02. The cooper's weren't available for a couple weeks through my dealer and these were only $10/ tire more. Can't wait to get them installed tuesday!
  2. My 02 also idles at 500 rpms
  3. That's normal. Between 500- 750 rpm
  4. I'm with govtech4 on this one. Have the shop foreman do a ride around with you. IMO it sounds like something to do with the electric power steering and the charging system on the truck, but that's just a shot in the dark
  5. Yeah my 05 Kawie Prairie 360 is my workhorse. She normally gets the plow hooked up to her. Makes some weird noises from the cvt drive but she still turnin' lol
  6. I wanna take this thing out on a night ride soon. Just installed reverse lights and a 20" light bar last week
  7. 14 High country 1500, 02 Silverado and my first born [emoji23] [emoji23]
  8. I couldn't imagine them needing silicone but I've never done valve cover gaskets
  9. sounds like a rare case IMO
  10. Well its pretty time consuming to pull a head. If they won't even try a new coil pack before pulling the head then there is something wrong with them. Try the easy things first. Go to a different dealer and tell em the entire story and see what they can do for you. I know I would have started with the plug and wire, then moved onto coil pack, then check the wiring harness that runs all the way to that coil pack. If all is good, then check the injector flow rate. I couldn't imagine needing to pull a head or even more for a misfire
  11. I'll meet you there chris lol
  12. I've also thought about doing clear in the rear. Already dark enough just need it to block the heat and UV rays
  13. I gotta ask. Why? I could see for parking, but at all times I couldn't imagine a reason. To each their own though!
  14. ^^^them 22's look gorgeous on the tungsten
  15. Love the iridium color! Wish I had either that or the ruby metallic! But, black is very slick when cleaned up nicely [emoji106]
  16. This truck is amazing. I love how quiet it is, and the power to mpg ratio is amazing. I like the rugged look of the high country brown seats too. 10k happy miles and counting [emoji106]
  17. I've looked and it seems to be a quick job SlavO. All pan bolts easily accessible and no need to drop the Y pipe like my 02 with a 4l60e
  18. Get all the metal shavings and such out of it. Anytime I do a trans swap I do a filter and fluid change about 2k afterwards to get all the metal grit (or the bulk of it) out of the system. Haven't had much time to do it yet. Have had the parts for almost 2 months. It's not necessary but it makes me feel better considering I've checked transmissions 2k after install and the magnet in the pan is covered in metal in an anti-seize type texture
  19. Forgot to include that hopefully next weekend I can get around to the transmission fluid and filter change
  20. Only thing recently is I rolled 10k this week Been working long hours and weekends a lot lately so not much time for the truck. Next weekend I should have down time so I'll be yanking the rear bumper in order to install the step lights. I may also tackle the footwell lights as well. Can't wait!! [emoji106]
  21. I use wd40 cause I feel like gas wouldn't ruin the paint but I've never used it so no for sure answer. Wd40 has always worked for me
