Light Bar Placement

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am wanting to put a light bar on my truck. My problem is that, I have the sunroof that slides up. I'm not to sure where to put the lightbar. Any idea's to where I should place it with out disruping my view of the sky, and the nice warm air flowing in?

I second the reccomendation of the above of a back rack.

You then have protection for your back window as well I note that you are hauling and that it can break your window if what you have in the back shifts or you accidently push the items too far forward towards the cab..

You can mount your light and any antennas that you want and will not bother your roof and do not have to worry about rub marks and or drilling holes in the roof and it will allow for a much cleaner install in the long run.

Yes it will cost more but then you can then take the rack off intact and move to your next truck and all you have to do is run the new wires on the new truck and it will then save you time as well in the long run.
