I had simular questions and heres what you do. Write down your VIN on a pice of paper and drive to your nearest gm dealer. ( somthing major not just a little used car lot) Go to the service desk and say you want a list od options that your truck has. They will ask for your vin. Then they will print out a sheet with every option your truck came with from the factory including; rear end gears, engine code, suspension packages ect...

When i got mine they did'nt charge me anything so thats what you do.
