Plastic Hood Vents

My nephew has an 07 HD with the plastic hood vents on each side of the hood. Does anyone know how to remove these without destroying them?

Is it the classic or NBS style ? I have the 07 NBS,the vents are on rear of hood and intergrated with the cowl at windshield. plowking

On the NBS trucks, pull the chrome Duramax/Allison plates from the vent - they just snap in. Once the plates are removed, you can see the screws that fasten the vents to the hood. Pretty easy!
