4l60e Trans. Problem

Ok here is what is going on with my 1997 suburban 2500 4x4. It is frustrating because I can not get it to trip a code. A few days ago the trans. started hesitating when put into reverse or drive from park. No slipping, clanking, or grinding. Just seemed to take longer to engage. Seemed worse if parked for a few days. Then while driving home the trans. went into limp mode and there is now a high pitch noise coming from the front of the trans. The noise is there with the vehicle in park neutral or gear. The fluid is full and looks ok and does not smell burnt. There is a tube on the driver side next to the top of the radiator that appears to have puked some type of oil. Could this be the trans. over flow tube? If I un hook the battery to reset the limp mode it will shift through all gears fine and smooth twice then back to limp mode.

i'm no expert, but i'd say its electrical related...as far as the hose, that pukes trans fluid, mines under my truck kind of near the rear of the tranny..and if its puking fluid it means theres alot of pressure in there or too much fluid..
