07 Rear End Axle Play?

On an 07+ 1500, should there be any in/out play in the axle? When I have the truck in the air I can pull/push the rear drum in/out and get a tiny bit of play. It makes a clunk sound. I also here this from time to time while pulling into a parking lot.

 

Normal or not? I only have 35K on it.

Nothing to be concerned about. The axles are retained by C-Clips. There will be some small movement as when you go to remove the axles(say for a gear change) you actually need to push them in that little bit to gain access to the clip's.
