2011 2500hd, How To Adjust Tailgate Latch Tension?

Hey all,

I just had my 2011 2500HD sprayed with Lone-X and now there seems to be a lot more resistance when pulling the handle to open the tailgate and I have to slam a lot harder to latch the tailgate when closing. Is there a simple adjustment I can do to try to make it work like it did 2 weeks ago when I brought the truck home from the dealer?

 

Can I loosen/move the 2 torx headed tailgate strikers to achieve the smooth latching operation of the tailgate like it was before the spray in bed liner?
