Rear Ac Blowing Warm

Recommended Posts

Posted

My 2003 GMC Yukon is blowing warm air from the rear AC while the front system is blowing cold.

Static pressure is 75psi at 85F ambient, so I don't think it is low on freon.

The low side line feels cold past the "Y" going to the front system and warm going to the rear system. I suspect a clogged rear expansion valve. Dang!

If the rear low line is not cold past the Y, could it still be a blend door or controller problem?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Chuck
