2015 silverado crew cab under seat custom sub

Thought id share as ive gotten plenty of good tips from people that shared their own work on their truck. I have yet to install anything just building my box at this point. I have kids so my rear space is a premium, so im building my own box to follow the contours of the under seat rear seats in the crew cab. Once i figure out how to post pictures (im on my phone and maybe not an option unless on the pc) i will post my measurements and my box up to this point.

I just started today, I don't even have the sub ordered yet but here is the info. Will be running a single JL Audio 10W0v3-4 in a sealed enclosure. Why sealed? Well, I want a quick and easy box build. I also like very tight bass, but if I do need more low end I'll just build another box with a port and transfer the sub... fun weekend project. I wanted to keep the sub box under the seat and keep as much rear space as possible, for this reason my dimensions are roughly 7.5H1 x 4.5H2 x 14.25W x 29D. This keeps the box right inline with the tip of the seat, about 3/8" recessed under the rear driver side seat. The sub will fire up into the seat, this will keep the woofer from being hit by random swinging heals from Youth aged kids and Toddlers in their car seats. I will update as I work on this, I hadn't seen anything on the 2015's so i thought I'd share.
