I had to deliver parts to a job in Lone Pine California today The work was a rocksaw job in a campground at the base of Mt Whitney. I took the picture from the road at the 8500 foot level The peak in the picture isnt Whitney it is the mountain next to it. What a piece opf granite. The 2500 HD made the 500 mile round trip on the hottest day of the year. 108 degrees most of the way. It pulled the last grades to the 8500 foot elevation without a problem. What a truck.

What kind of "parts" did you have to take (electrical connectors, or light poles)?

Our crew was working on a job for the Forest Service. We are digging a 11,000 foot trench with a Vermeer RockSaw. The Forest Service guys are putting the new water line in it.

I was delivering 1000 new carbide cutting teeth for the RockSaw.
