Running B20 diesel

Recommended Posts

Hey folks,

I’m new here and need some advice/opinions. I bought a 2018 GMC Canyon All Terrain back in August of last year. The truck has about 80k and based on the Car Fax, it was a one owner local trade in that has been regularly maintained. The truck runs like a top.

I want to start running b20 diesel and am looking for advice as to how to do that given that it’s probably run b5 most if not all it’s life. I’ve heard that running b20 can lead to emissions issues and can clog your fuel filter on trucks that have not run b20 primarily. I’m looking for advice on what I need to do mechanically to make the switch?  Thank you in advance.56587CD5-B162-41C1-813C-057D8F674EC5.thumb.jpeg.72029d7f0b35e0cd32dfc908f605a0f1.jpegA9FFF501-2D44-4DAF-BF70-7F57EAD5079B.thumb.jpeg.7da2784beb938be12e7f3809453f3b21.jpeg
