i have a 96' Chevy burban. 5.7L with ati prochager, howe radiator, electric fans, headers and dual exhaust, GMS MAF. rear and trans are stock.

now, i want to get into this GP going on by Tbryne. my questions are, is it worth it for my application. what exactly does he do?

firmness in shifts, raise shift points, speed limiter remover, tire size adjuster.

what i would like is that everyone who has a westers, to chime in and tell me their experience with Westers. What u got done, what mods u have, etc...

any info u got, let me know!!!

thanks guys! appreciate it!

Lyndon can do all that and more...

I didn't realize how much better my truck ran until my dealer flashed my computer and overwrote my program!!! I will be calling Lyndon (which I wanted to do anyways) and have him set me up with a "dual tune 89-93".

I've recommended Wester's to everyone who has ever asked me about them. For my truck, it's been a huge improvement both in driveability and performance. From my order of the tune a while back, here's what I asked for (my mods are in my sig...)

> -- Firmer Transmission Shifting

> -- Hold in Gear Longer

> -- Lower the Torque Management

> -- Raise the Wide Open Throttle Shift Points to 5600 RPMS

> -- Raise the Speed Limiter to 130MPH

> -- Tow/Haul set up for really firm shifts, with reliable towing capability...

> -- 89 Octane Tune (Gas Mileage Increase)

I love it, and after driving a rental truck with the same driveline as mine for few days, I enjoy mine even more!!! Send Lyndon some questions too, if you have any. He answered all of mine, which ended up being quite a lot.

good info guys! appreciate it!

yes, i did send lyndon questions, but i think he isvery busy and just gave me one liner's....

i trust his tuning abilities...i mean, c'mon, i have yet to hear of someone who is not happy with their tune.

now the question for me is, why my truck keeps setting off codes, will i keep my blower, and will i buy the Wester's. hopefully most of this will be answered tonight into tommrrow...

Shaners: There won't be any charge to replace that program

fastdrvr23: Westers programs seem to give more smiles per mile than anything else I've seen! (I can see this quote being reused! :jester: ).

1 Bad Burb: Do you know what the codes are for?

Posted

Tom, yes, i found out the codes. the engine does not seem to like the combo of the GMS MAF and ati kit...

ohh well, just pulled it out and threw the stock one in. no codes soo far! the code only came on when the truck was in high rpms under boost.

eitherway, i wrote in the fsc thread, i'll take the Wester's tune, so send me or pm me whatever we need to do. best to reach me on fsc, im always there...

thanks Tom, Aj
